Slow on a monday

It’s a fun little course, was hampered by pace of play, was a little over 5 hours to complete the round teeing off at 2:20pm on a Monday!

Pace of Play... Awful

The course is in good condition, but I had to quit on hole 16 as we were on pace for a 6-hour round. Absolutely terrible that you would pack this many people on a course. There would be times when we were triple-stacked on tee boxes.

Went off at 3:15 and left on hole 16 at 8 o'clock.

Slow Go at Raccoon Creek

Seems like Raccoon Creek is always slow and so it was on the 2nd of June. It took about 5-1/2 hours to play, always waiting at the tee box, and just overall not having a great time. Pace of play is slow, I think, because the course has so many hazards- mainly water - and most golfers aren’t able to avoid the problems. It’s a nice course but a bit more difficult than some golfers can handle.

Lots of sand on greens

Why so much top dressing in late May- greens were very slow and annoying. Otherwise course is nice.

If you’re solo, you don’t get your own cart

I had a day off so decided to go play 18 solo. They paired me up with a three some, which was fine, but what was not cool was the pro shop telling me to take a cart, and then the starter rep telling me I had to consolidate all my belongings into another cart when they had a whole fleet of open carts on a Monday non holiday afternoon.

Pro shop should tell you you’re only paying for a shared cart. That surprise was quite upsetting as I was trying to tee off and simultaneously move all my unpacked belongings
