Raccoon Creek Golf Course
About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,007 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Great Course
Lots of water, but not too much. A great course with the perfect challenge
Beware of the GUR
Lots of ground under repair on hole 3. Takes the entire landing zone from the tee out.
One of the best in Denver
Great track. Great place. Super friendly. Highly recommend.
A bit rough, perhaps from the rains the prior week.
Greens were soft and bumpy due to spike marks and no one fixing their pitch marks.
Some fairways were a bit rough. Seems like they were cut. Perhaps the rains from the week before prevented the course from being at its best.
The staff was extremely nice and the clubhouse was also very nice.
Fun and slow
Had a great time. Worst round of the year so far:). Awesome staff! Pace was slow but communication from crew made it bearable. I’ll play here again for sure.
Course condition
Stay away from this course for at least a month! Course is in horrible condition! Wasted $87.
Longest round of my life!
When we finally finished 18, the smart screen in the cart told us we were 87 minutes behind pace. I would not play there again if it were free!
Improvement needed
Beginning with the 1st tee starter, it was a 6 hour round, largely due to poor Course management by the staff. No attempt was made to encourage slow foursomes to move it along. Staff needs to monitor and maintain pace of play. Encourage playing through. 6 hours. This isn’t a 6 hour course. We won’t be back for a bit.
Lots of bare fairways
Had they been marking ground under repair, a good portion of the course would be circled. Lots of bare spots on fairways. Also, took nearly 6 hours to play. I’m not sure if this is due to an overbooked tee sheet or if the Marshall was not properly monitoring play, but it was the longest round of golf I have ever played. Don’t expect to get all 18 in on the weekend if you are booking after 2:00. I will look elsewhere for future times.
You can tell it’s really close to being a good course worth its money. Fairways are terrible. Guy said they’re getting new carts so that’s a plus. I’d come back in a couple years and maybe it will be worth it’s value but not any time soon
Shot the best round of my life!
I booked a round by myself and usually would be paired up with 3 other people but because weather was chilly that day I was able to play by myself. It was only my second time playing here, but I would recommend the course to golfers of all skill levels! The greens were in impeccable shape for march! They were receptive on approach shots, and had a true roll and breaks on putts. I was nailing more putts than I ever had! The course also has danger on most holes, especially for Colorado, so it is important to have control off the tee. I ended the front 9 shooting -1 having 4 birdies and 3 bogies. My back 9 wasnt quite as strong but was still playing very well by my standards. I finished +3 on the back with 4 bogies and 1 more birdie on the 210 yd par 3 17 that I hit a perfect 4 iron 10 feet. Because I was alone the groups in front of me were all very nice and offered to let me play through without ever having to ask. I managed to finish all 18 holes in nearly 3 hours, but I an sure not every day is like that.
