Priest Lake Golf Course
Early in the year, had to wait a few times for the rain to stop before playing again. Over all the course itself was in great shape for the Spring.
Overpriced remote location
The course is in a beautiful location but is way overpriced. Seems to be a mini trying to be a country club. Fairways are hard panned greens were recently plugged but looked like they might be challenging. Unless you get a discount the course is overpriced.
Prettiest course in the Inland NW. Must use course management to score well. Keep your driver in the bag for most holes.
Prettiest course in the Inland NW. Must use course management to score well. Keep your driver in the bag for most holes. Get off the fairway you'll most likely lose your ball and your score will reflect it. When I put the driver away I scored very well.
Great course - not good service from Golf Now.
Disappointed that Golf Now ignored our error in booking Prarie Falls when we meant to book Priest Lake. It was our first experience with Golf Now and we were confused. Will think twice before using it again - or recommending it to anyone else.
very pretty
You must hit the ball straight or your ball will be gone. Lost
several balls, but still had a great time. Lots of water, and
forest rough. fairways are wide so it is not too hard to keep
it in bounds.
CHALLANGING AND FUN
GREAT VALUE FOR THE DEAL I GOT THUR GOLF NOW
DOT COM. COURSE WAS CHALLENGING AND INTERESTING TO PLAY, YOU WILL USE A LOT OF DIFFERENT CLUBS IN YOUR BAG. ONLY DOWN SIDE IS THE DISTANCE TO DRIVE FROM SPOKANE.
great picturesque tight course
Have always enjoyed the back nine more than the front. Both sides have good holes and some real duzzies! I'd go again !
The most beautiful and fun course I have ever played.
This is the most beautiful and fun course I have ever played. Almost every hole had some kind of a fun challenge. I must have said the word " WOW" at least a dozen times as we rounded a corner and saw the next hole. Can't wait to play it again.
the back nine was quite a challenge
the course seemed to be in very good condition especially given the very hot dry weather we have had. the front nine played about like many other local area courses but the back nine was a whole different story for a weekend golfer. we enjoyed both sides very much.
pin placements are killer!
Not a grip it & rip it course..unless you bring lots of golf balls. AS per any course knowing the hole shape really matters... easy to find trouble off the tee if you forget to plan for hidden water & the like. So absolutely beautiful!
Great course
Priest Lake Golf Course is a little gem in the great northwest. Keep the ball in the fairway and you'll have a good round. Back nine is set in a combination of forest and wet lands. Breath taking if you take the time from golfing to look around.
Truly a walk in nature. Breathtaking views and abundant wildlife.
The greens are tricky especially if you get above the hole on some. From time to time the greens are too slow. Recently the speed of the greens have been acceptable. On some holes in the woods, right off the second cut, is OB and not that clearly marked.
A good walking course. If you pay posted rates during prime time you pay too much.
Not too hard, but plenty of chances for trouble
I love a course that requires club selection off the tee and this one does that. A number of Par 4s require an iron off the tee to set up the best approach. Lots of forced carries, but they're more intimidating than difficult. Some minor problems, but in general well maintained right now. The only drawback is the bugs -- mosquitoes! BTW, use GolfNow or Twighlight rates -- the normal course prices are too high for the quality of the course itself.
Fun track in a beautiful area. Nice friendly staff
Fun 18 hole golf course located at Priest Lake. It was originally a 9 hole golf course, and was expanded to 18 about 20 years ago. Owned by hills resort.
The front 9 holes are pretty easy to score on, and the back is more challenging. Not a long course at about 6200 yards from the tip, but especially the back 9 holes brings in a lot of tougher shots and placement/positioning of your tee shots and second shots.
You play for free on your birthday (at least in 2013). I enjoyed 18 holes for free. Great deal!
It plays for 1 dollar a hole after twilight (serious bargain) and the course itself is usually in nice shape. The fairways by summer get really lush and the greens are never lighting fast but are nice for this caliber of golf course.
Definitely recommend people stop by and play the course.
overall good course to play, back 9 a little challenging
overall good course to play,back 9 a little challenging,just a bit marshy
Most scenic course I have played.
Front nine is challenging and well kept. The back nine is beautifully scenic and very tough. Great place to play.
too difficult to be fun
Way too pricey, too many blind shots, ridiculous doglegs. Just not fun.
funky front nine, scenic back nine, bring balls
front nine is non-descript for the most part and back nine is generally scenic. course layout leaves a lot to be desired as does conditioning. extremely sharp doglegs, blind shots, and long (200+ yds) forced carries are all featured on the course. tee boxes are crowned and need work. distances are poorly marked.
