Greenshire Golf Course

I had a great experience here, and played the best round I’ve ever played. I golfed by myself and it was amazing. I played on a rainy day, so there was minimal golfers; although the golfers that were there, were all jerk faces! It’s Lake County, so you kinda expect it… The lady in the clubhouse was cool! The greens are good and the layout was relatively simple; except for holes 6 and 7, which are confusing and I played the wrong hole. It’s a Par 3 9-hole course, so it’s great for practice. The course can be walked, but I used a cart (especially with the rain that day). I’ll definitely be returning.

Decent course for working on your short game. Don't like that they raised the price. I could play a normal 9 hole course for the $2 more. I wouldn't play here again without the hot deal price.

Small and run down course. I am not a golf snob by any means, but this course was frustrating to play because of the grass conditions. Little white weed flowers everywhere in the fairway that perfectly match the golf ball color. Tight and compact course gives little room for mistakes.

A solid 9 hole par 3 course, the best public par 3 course I've played in Lake County. Good value and well maintained by the Waukegan Park District. Great option for young players learning the game and seniors. Give it a try!
