Blackberry Oaks Golf Club

Really enjoyed the round. The course was in great shape for November and played really well. The holes were interesting and there was a good balance of open fareways with hazards including lots of water . I would highly recommend this course and will be playing again for sure.

Like everything about course.

The greens were really beat up around the pin yesterday during my round, every hole was like this. It didn't look like the pin had been moved in quite some time based on all the ball marks and foot marks so that being said it was really tough to get a putt to roll on line. I was in one green side bunker and found that there was only about 2 inches of sand in it, i could see the black screen after i hit my ball so be aware....The layout is very interesting, it will make you think about your 2nd or 3rd shots. Pace of play was excellent for a saturday at 1130am, we finished in 4 hours

The course is in generally good condition. The club championship was upcoming and the rough was so long that even shots, in the first cut(s) and just off of the green were tough to find.

Greens cold use some attention. Many unrepaired ball marks and inconsistent grass length made the overall green conditions only fair to average for a public course in the area.

A few traps had exposed ground covering, something I would expect greens keepers to tend to on a daily basis.

Good challenged course w/water, trees, sand & slopes! I try getting out on this course once every 2 weeks as it allows you to use all the clubs in your bag!

Make sure you keep the ball away from the water holes - it can creep up on you.

Hadn't played here in about 10 years it will probably be 10 more until I come back. I was allowed to go out as a single which is great, there was another single behind me and another single in front of me walking who let me play thru. No starter, no on course marshall, no one to help with pace of play. This would be a decent course to play on a day when their aren't many players on the course but when it is busy forget it. I quit after nine when I saw 2 threesomes on the tenth tee in front of me and knew I was probably looking at a 2 1/2 hour back nine. Thank you Golfnow for the extremely reduced tee time without it this would have been a horrible day on the links.

Course is in great shape. Grounds crew does a super job. Haven't played here in a few years and forgot to leave my driver in the bag. Blackberry Creek ate many of my drives! Fairways are in good shape and greens are rolling true. Enjoyed my experience and will play here again -- without my driver.

great need of fairway yardage markers,whats wrong with having colored posts on sides of fairways,would sure make for better play and cheap to do.

This track never disappoints. Great layout, great people, good value. The pace was slower (a 5 hr round). But the overall conditions were good. Would recommend, and will play again.

A wooded but wide course, well maintained. Staying in the short grass and out of the water was hard with the wind that seemed always in my face. Getting out of the long rough was challenging and finding a ball in tall grass takes time and slows play.

I have been playing this course for the past 6 years regularly. This year, there is a noticeable difference in the course condition, especially early on (4/17). Updates have been made and are being made to enhance your golf experience here. The staff is second to none, and the head pro, Chad, is as good as they get. Keep up the good work and looking forward to another great golf season.

Perfect weather for the annual Spring Scramble. 40 teams and challenging pin position resulted in an awesome day. If you haven't played Blackberry Oaks you need to add it to you must play list. The pro Chad ran an excellent event.

You can't get much better than playing the Oaks. The layout is fun and challenging at the same time. Course is in great shape and amenities are getting better by the day. Staff is great. They're friendly, knowledgable and make for a great day of golf. The restraunt is the perfect ending to a great day of golf. Definitely take the time to play this course. You will be back once you do.

Blackberry Oaks is truly one of the best courses in the Western Suburbs in my opinion. The course is not long but can be challenging for all including low handicaps. Well protected greens, lots of hazards including ponds, creeks and tall fescue. Great course layout, always in great shape and the greens always roll true. The staff is friendly and very professional and the restaurant bar has great food and nice views from the outside patio overlooking the 18th hole. I'm looking forward to the new short game practice area coming later this summer! Definitely a course you want to put on your list this summer.

Greens have been getting better over the years and the layout always offers a fun but challenging play. I would recommend this to anyone in the area that's looking to get out and hit it around. Great course for beginners to advanced.

I've been playing here for many years now, with the last two being more than all other course together. I think the layout of the course offers challenges, but also opportunities to score. I generally play the blues, which can add quite a bit of distance/challenge. I like that the bunkers are actually decent sand, and not that gravel that a lot of midwest courses tend to use. The employees are always friendly. Chad is an excellent instructor. I'd like to rate the course bad, so the course doesn't get crowded, but they definitely deserve a good review, and I welcome all to come out and enjoy this country retreat.
