I really like this course. In immaculate condition plenty of water and native grass to catch wayward shots. Nice variety of holes. Took my 13 year old son and we still finished in 3 hours. Would recommend you play here.

I prefer to walk and carry when I golf and this is the first Hot Deal I've seen on Golfnow.com that lets you do that. Excellent value. I always enjoy Blackberry Oaks. A challenging layout. Great walkers course, not too many hills. And the train sounding on your back swing is ambiance not available elsewhere!

Cart is not included on thoer Hot Deal. So be careful to book hot deal. They charge $10 each for the cart. Without the catch, it is very nice golf course. Fairways are maintained awesome. Sand feels nice and soft. Green is little slow but I played right after the rain so probably that is why. Nice view and challenging layout. If the Hot Deal includes cart, i would give five star since it is incredible deal. But it is still worth to play.

Played here several times with discounts. Honestly, I still can't see where the 4.1 rating comes from. The course is average but does not have a single memorable hole. Its not bad, its not nothing special at all.

Course was challenging but most putting greens were basically flat, and thus fairly easy. No complaints there cause I could then focus more on my putting distance.

This is a good time to get out here and play. They did a great job of getting course ready for new season. Greens were good. Tee boxes were good and the cuts were good. Overall I would recommend this course as a good value. I love the last hole. it leaves you with some conversation on the way home.

Given the degree to which Winter has taken its toll, the course was in good shape, with exception to the bunkers. The Greens were slow but, did roll true. And the rough was tough near water areas. Overall, a pretty satisfying course and day to be out.

Beat value in west of Chicago area, maybe I should keep this secret to myself! The people that work here treat you great and the entire facility is in great shape. The course plays tough. But gives bailouts to us less stellar players. I love the fall deals offered here , I would consider making this my home course!

Have played this course about three times now. I found it to be an interesting mix of fairly easy holes and some quite difficult holes. It is a nice length, where I can use all my clubs (I'm not a real long hitter), but not overly long, either. The three times I have played it I have finished in about 3 1/2 hours. Greens and fairways are nicely maintained. Most approach shots are to a slightly elevated green. I plan to go back many times.

Well protected, very firm and fast greens.big emphasis on driving the ball difficult rough to impossible fescue. Great test ia great setting.

I was pleasantly surprised by this course. There are some straight forward holes but there are also some challenging holes, I found it to be more challenging on the front nine. It's a little out of the way, but I will definitely come back.

This course has a great view. The Tree lines and the river flowing through the course is very rare in this area.

Course is in excellent condition, challenging course that can be scored on if you can control your ball. Greens roll true, not too fast medium difficulty for putting. Lots of well placed hazards throughout the course. Shot an 83 on Wednesday.

This coarse has a nice layout with morewater thanaverage. The fairways were beaten up.

Course was in nice shape. Nice pace on greens, decent bunkers with enough sand, good amount of water hazards to negotiate. I played with a friend mid morning on a Thursday and we played 18 holes in just about 3 hours... so great pace of play. Not real long (6300 from tips), but long enough. Course crew was very courteous, shut off lawnmowers until you were done hitting, moved way off greens when we were in position for our approach shots, even pointed out an errant shot we could not find. Gentlemen at desk in Pro Shop could have been a little more friendly, but no big deal. First time I played this course but already making plans to go back again.

Course played very well for fall. I had tr course to myself until I caught up to a senior tournament.

What a gem this is. It's a bit far from Chicago but we paid only $34 in September and probably could not find a better deal for a course of this caliber anywhere. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape. The course is quite challenging where you have to shape your shots, bunkers protecting the front of greens, and water and ravines where you think there are none. We struggled the first time we played here not knowing the course but would definitely come back. It's a short course, only about 6500 yards from the tips with a slope rating of 134,, but if this were 500 yards longer it would be a beast at 140 or over.
