About
Blackberry Oaks in Bristol is a public golf course that has been recognized as one of the Chicagoland area's best courses. The course design utilizes the natural beauty and hazards of the landscape including the native wetlands, grassy prairies, and towering stands of mature oaks. Blackberry Creek also meanders through the course. In addition to the natural hazards, a heavy smattering of strategically placed bunkers was also incorporated into the design. Although it can seem intimidating, the golf course isn't overly formidable if you can manage to stay out of the sand and water. The third and 12th holes are two par 4s that are memorable for their water hazards. The third has a lake along either side and the 12th has a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water.

Pace of Play
We teed off 11:30am and finished the round at 5:45pm.
Six hours and 45 minutes to play 18 holes. No rangers on the course to move players. Golfers playing from blue tees who should have played from forward tees. Every hole was a huge backup of foursomes. Absolutely unacceptable. Very disappointing for everyone.

Very nice course in great condition. Many interesting holes. #18 is really tough, borderline unfair for average golfers. But all in all, a great course.
Refund please
I only was able to play 9 holes because of rain with my wife on Mother’s Day. Went to clubhouse to get rains check for remaking nine holes for us. They advised they couldn’t because of golf now contract with you. Been customer of golf now many years. They told me to get refund from you. If I don’t this will be my last year with golf now.
A Great Golf Course
Great Staff does a really good job making this a special place to play and have a good time!
Awesome place
I usually shoot around 100 so I'm not the best but this course has great holes for beginners and pros alike, the best hole is the 18th in my opinion. Great place to golf and very friendly staff.
Nice course to play, worth a long drive to play it.
A four star course. Beautiful as well. Play the white tee with other guys in group.

Pretty Good Course
Beautiful course and layout...early in the year for a few barespots on a very few greens. The negative was we had the group behind us hit into us on 3 holes in a row. Pace of play was just less than 4 hrs

The Staff is outstanding. The course is fun! They really take great care of everything!
