I really enjoyed the layout of the course. The fairways were hard which allowed for a lot of roll. Greens were in excellent shape. The course is also marked very well which made it easier for me to decide which clubs to use. I would definitely recommend playing this course
A Real Favorite of mine
It's best to play this course with someone who has played it before. There are a few holes where you must know where to aim your shots to take advantage of the slopes. In other words, don't be quiet, ask question s on how to play the longer holes and your will score much better. The greens are ALWAYS very nice.
Not bed
The gap between rounds between the teams in front and behind seems too tight.
Nice place to Golf
The holes weren't too difficult and we enjoyed the course. Could have had one more cart visit but otherwise was a pleasant day.

Great historic course for the area
Cary Country Club has been a go to golf course in Cary Illinois for over 100 years. Located next to the Fox River in Illinois it offers some of the best scenic views in the area. It has very friendly staff who want you to have a very positive golf experience at Cary Country Club, I recommend that if you are in the area and want to golf give Cary Country Club a strong consideration it is a good value and a great experience.

Need a starter!!!!!
Tee times are not gaped appropriately. As a result very slow play. Grass could be mowed a tad shorter. Don’t play after rain, course doesn’t drain well, to be expected for a hundred year old course. Worth playing.

We attempted to play this course, but were unfortunately washed out after the third hole. They would only refund us for the holes we did not play though, so we received 75% of our green fee. Those will be the last holes I play there. Such a myopic approach with their refund policy leads them to being penny wise and pound foolish and creates a poor customer experience. I wish management all the luck in their business efforts going forward.

Well laid out to take advantage of the big hills available. Hard to believe it is northeast Illinois.
