Grand Marais Golf Club

Nice round. Good pace of play! The course conditions have really improved in the past few years since it reopened. Only complaint would be that the tee box grounds were very hard, to the point where we were breaking our tees attempting to tee up our golf balls. Otherwise, it was a decent round.

sprinklers went off almost every hole would have to wait for them to go off on the green we are shooting at then getting on the green the conditions were just too drenched to even putt so we had to skip putting at least 6 holes and paid $30 dollars each for 18 holes which i believe should've cost $20 if that.

I booked this Tee Time an hour before I teed off and live 45 minutes away. Worth it for sure. Great price. No one tees off before or after me. Felt like I had the course to myself. Layout and signage was not very obvious but I used the back side of my scorecard to help out.

WE have not played at this course for a couple of years. It was in great condition! Would recommend it and plan to go back!

Got scammed out of money made me charge even after reservation through Golf plus. Place sucks

Terrible course, not upkept, golf cart steering wheel dang near came off with how bad it was shaking. Switched out to a different cart that just wouldn’t move at times once on the course. Spend your money else where

4inches of standing water in every fairway tee box etc.

Save your money. The layout is boring but I would’ve okay with that if the conditions were even decent. There was not even an attempt at differentiating the rough from the fairway. There were 3-4 times where I lost a ball in the middle of the fairway due to the height of the grass. Greens were as slow as I’ve played too.

Fairways grass was longer than average rough. You can lose your ball after hitting a good drive. There is basically no fairway.

Selling tee times on GN when course is closed and Grands website doesn’t have any info stating they are closed. Booked and drove to course to find it closed. Better call before you go or go somewhere else

GolfNow wasn’t supposed to book a tee time. They had a 2-person scramble going on. Luckily we were able to just go out and play still. Not the course’s fault. GolfNow screwed up.

It's a great value for the money. Its inside a state park so there's no houses and some great ponds and lakes. One par five has the smallest green I've ever seen. Followed by the second smallest green on a par 4. Not.many bunkers but the small greens make it a challenge. Probably the flatest course I've ever seen as well. I walked it and enjoyed the exercise. Greens were top.dressed so pretty slow. But that was ok. I'll be back to play again.
