Decent
A great practice area with mats only on weekdays.
Friendly staff but sometimes painfully slow pace: played as a single in 1 hour 3 minutes after an outing.
But usually, a long, slow 2.5+ hours with waits on every tee—that’s just nine holes.
Very well maintained for the amount of rounds played here. One of the top 3 nine hole courses in the area.
Lots of horrible duffers though..
Real nice municipal golf course
I really enjoy playing FC, I’ve been playing here five yrs about 5-6 times p season. Well maintained course, fairly competitive. Only negative is cost to play, a little high for just nine holes for what I can play 18 holes in area.
I really enjoy the 19th hole, real nice bartenders Jim and Betsy are.
Very nice course
Only drawback was they put you with another twosome.
Always a good round , a well maintained 9 hole gem with hot deal awesome price .
But today played slow 2.5 hours if you can deal with that this is your place then 12-14$ hot deal with a cart
Flagg Creek
We were able to get a holiday special for a foursome.
4 rounds of golf and 2 carts $15 per person.
A fantastic deal. The staff that greeted us were extremely friendly and helpful since it was our first time.
The indoor clubhouse was neat and cool, and important factor when faced with 91 heat.
Carts were in good condition and ready for use.
We had no wait time since we used the practice putt area before being called for our tee time.
Play moved along at a steady pace and there were no clogs at any holes.
A refreshment cart came around offering drinks at regular intervals. She was extremely pleasant and did not intrude on play.
A very pleasant way to spend the holiday and we will return.
happy 4th
always saw the course from the ramp, enjoyed the course and nice to talk with Michelle when play was done
Great addition golf now
Great time, real good pace, excellent course condition.
Great course even better deal
The course was in excellent shape better than some country clubs and the price was right can’t wait to play again
All day Golf
Something I didn’t know and it wasn’t posted this way but when you purchase through the app it cost $10 more than at the course but you can play as long as you want. We only played 18 but easily could have played more.
Not for beginners.
Played this course simply to get out and swing the club. Reasonable course and cost. However, this course is not one for the beginner. Made a time that was immediately in front of a small group that seems to play regularly. Was a slow paced day. The 4 some behind us became irritated with the slower pace and became vocal and then they started to hit into us. we told the ranger but nothing happened. After the second hole of almost being hit, they were invited to go through even though there was no place to go. They indicated that not just their group but all of their other 4 groups would have to be allowed through. We said that was too much. On the next hole, they again hit into us and almost hit me in the head. Afterwards, all of their players were in the club house laughing and joking with the staff about how they tried to speed up play. My only advice is to not play this course since the staff do not follow through and if you know them, you "own" the course.
Flagg Creek G.C.
Great little course with an interesting variety of holes. Very nice driving range.
We were able to play a round after work in 2 hours. Convenient location near I-55 & I-294.
Very affordable... we'll be playing there more often.
October Bonus
Was really looking forward to this round with it being LATE, late October in Chicagoland area. High 60s, Sun, late morning 9. Unfortunately we were stuck behind 3 younger kids walking and a teacher riding a cart. If we would have scheduled an earlier round Im sure we could have avoided this but who doesnt want to sleep in on the weekends? It was brutal for the 1st 3 holes and then again on the 9th when they finally let us play through. Thanks, but for what really at this point in the round? Damage done. Could have been a great day but will have to settle for average because of no flow, aggravation of waiting. We considered calling the office but a Ranger drove past us and apparently didnt do anything either. Oh well still a bonus round played in late fall.
9 holes with wife & friends
Grabbed a Hot Deal for $11 walking that we could not pass up. Met some friends from the city since it's about halfway between us. 2nd time we've met here. Shot pretty well and pace was okay for a holiday. Waited a little bit on each hole as group in front cleared. We'll be back.
Nice 9 hole course, but pace of play way too slow
Had a 4:15 tee time on a Friday afternoon, at 6:45 still waiting to play the 8th hole so we left. There was a high school team in front of us and more time should have been allowed between tee times. Very frustrating.
Flagg Creek 8/24
Course was in excellent condition despite the rain that had fallen earlier in the day.
Pace of play wasn't too bad, a foursome off the course in 2:10.
Staff is always friendly and very welcoming, Really nice place to play 9 holes
Family friendly
Great little neighborhood course that is very accommodating for young golfers
Nice course, but one issue ...
Flagg Creek is one of the better layouts and has something for good and beginning golfers alike. Pace of play can be slow, so expect about a 2-hour round, sometimes 2:15. ... The one complaint on this day was that the practice greens were MUCH faster than the greens on the course. We have a incoming freshman trying out for a golf team at Flagg Creek in just over a week, so this was a big problem. We spent an hour on the practice green getting used to the speed, only to walk out on the course and find them rolling about half as fast. Fix that and this course would get 4 stars instead of 3.
A nice walk
The course was in good shape and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.
