No management
Front 9 was great, the back had at least two groups of 6 playing so I went back and played the front again, A lot of young kids really slowed it down, the course was in good shape
Blocked hole
The red tees on hole 8 are completely blocked by overhanging tree limbs. And if the flag had been on the left side of the green it would have been impossible to get to it.
Slow Play
We always enjoy playing here, however, this time there was a foursome in front of us who were incredibly SLOW! It took 3 hrs. To play the back 9. They spent 40 minutes on 2 holes. Needed a ranger.
Turnberry has a fun layout, and you can see the potential. The green were avg. to slower. The fairways and Tees were pretty beat up for the end of May.
Fun semi challenging course
The course during the start of a drought is in pretty good condition. The front 9 were a bit busy but the back 9 were wide open. We had fun and enjoyed our golf. Would love to see the digital cart screen come back.
I never new this course existed
The course was very manageable very tight in some places and wide open in others Did not understand the cables Hanging on the carts somebody told me it was the start of a cheesy way to have GPS I use phone don’t need it Carts could of been updated It was a course I would come back to I was expecting a little better The negative reviews could be Disastrous We finished 3hours 30 minutes always having that feeling that we would Have to walk Back to the clubhouse Did not happen Thank God Without customers don’t have a golf course
Has great potential
The course layout is great and the conditions were good. The beverage cart was friendly and had a good frequency. The staff was indifferent. The pace of play was horrendous. No marshall to encourage faster play. It was so bad that I would not go back for fear of slow play.
Nice course just need a little attention
I like this course with good layout and nice wise fairways.
It good for advanced golfer or beginners as long as you are on the correct set of tees
The greens tees are 6000 yards long enough for most seniors and higher handicappers. The next tee the whites is almost 6,400 yard to long for most players.
The greens need some work to grainy and slow looks like the skipped spring aeration.
Staff is all very nice made for a pleasant experience
Owner has a power trip and is a piece of work.
Kicked people off when he was playing and holding up groups. Not respectful at all and is going to run the course into the ground
Rrturn to Turnbery
Course was in great shape. Can't figure out why they don't get more play. Rough was a little long. Lost some balls in the rough too easily. Staff was friendly. Grounds keepers on their lawn mowers kept coming up right behind us hole after hole after hole. Very distracting.
Nice
The course was in very good condition today. The greens were nice and not too quick. The fairways were in good shape. This is still a very nice course. Looks like they made some improvements to men's locker room area and they may be adding GPS. Hopefully it stays open to the public. Well worth the trip.
