Turnberry Country Club

First, you have to figure out where the golf shop is because there is poor signage to direct you. you have to walk down an asphalt paved path with holes that should have been replaced several years ago. Range ball machine charged my credit card but was empty and I had to notify employee.

Golf carts were gas powered and had GPS which was good.

No starter at 1st tee. No information about pin placement.

Bar staff was very nice. Drink cart staff also.

Course was average. The ground was very hard.

Played at 1:00 on a Saturday. No one in front and no one behind. Not sure why.

Course is in GREAT shape! Challenging design, greens, tees and fairways are in great shape. Bunkers were soft and manicured. I appreciate everyone staying home. Played in 3 and a half hours.

Nice course, played it on a very windy day, bunker were fine, greens rolled true, gps could use some work,the cart we had, the gps was mounted upside down

I really enjoy the course. Course conditions have improved. Sadly, like so many courses they have gone to a reservation system that makes it difficult for a single player to make a tee time. In talking to the clubhouse staff, they were amenable to setting a time with a phone call so that was encouraging. It’s a great course and I’m looking forward to more rounds there this summer.
