Good course
Course is well kept, and staff is friendly. Fairly open without a-lot of hazards.
Hughes creek golf course
Good course, pace of play was very slow but didn’t care had fun out there I will play again.
Play it for me
This course is hard. I play poorly every time I play here. I probably will never play this course again. It’s a great course though. I just personally play poorly here.
Hughes has stepped up
Course is in great condition. Cart paths still need work on the back 9. Recent GPS gadgets are very helpful. Especially on hole 16, cuz you can tell when the group in front of you finishes. We used to drive to the top of the hill to check.
Fun course, worth playing.
Greens good. Fringe grass very thick. Some fun holes present a challenge.
Hit em straight
A bit of a drive for me (38 miles), but a challenging course…hit em straight even if you must give up a bit of distance. Nice greens and fairways are well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great Value, great course
Beautiful tees, fairways and greens. Unfortunately the pace of play was like watching paint dry.
Almost 3 hours to play 9 holes.
Thankfully we didn’t tee off later. Behind us it looked like the Eisenhower at rush hour
Worst part is $4.00 for a bag
Staff was friendly - The course maintenance has gotten better but greens were still burnt and cart paths inconsistent. Waited on at least half the holes . The food is crazy $4.00 for a bag of peanuts or a soda???
Hughes Creek
Played Bowes Creek Friday ($87) and Hughes Creek Saturday ($76). Felt that Bowes was in way better shape, had outstanding pace of play (under 4 hr. round), and golf carts with GPS. Love Hughes - played it over 10 times last season - but if you're going to charge $76 (and been doing so since April), then you need to step up. The new carts paths are great (but why not finished yet?). I will be back again, but probably not as much as last year.
