Wolves Crossing Golf Club

About
Wolves Crossing Golf Club in Jerseyville sits just 45 minutes north of St. Louis. The course has a traditional links-style layout that sprawls across a wide-open, gently rolling landscape. There are some challenging holes but the course is known for being more forgiving than the other formidable golf courses in the area. The layout is relatively short at just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, a manageable length for any skill level, even beginners. What the golf course lacks in length it more than makes up for in water. Golfers will face water hazards coming into play on several holes. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and putting green available at Wolves Crossing Golf Club.

The greens were in excellent condition.
I totally enjoyed playing Wolves Crossing in Jerseyville IL.
Country golf course with corn field around
This course good beginner or highs cap play to enjoy the shot and open field
well worth the trip to Jerseyville
course was still in good shape for late August. Staff always takes good care of us,
great deal
only complaint is the staff was nowhere to be found at the turn
the best I have ever seen it
The pace of play was great the greens and fairways were in great shape and as usual hole number 18 is always a challenge for me.
Nice community golf courrse
I am a semi-regular player at Wolves. The course is great for a beginner like me and the pace everyone plays at is fast. I have played other courses in the area and feel that some of those courses drag a round out to the point where the game becomes frustrating. The staff is friendly and the course is in good shape for the time of year. I think Wolves provides a variety of challenges for any golfer, beginner to advanced, and is a true value in the pricing. I would recommend this course to anyone
The greens were in gret shape and the overall course conditions were a very nice surprise.
We had a fantastic time and could not find anything to crab about so good job to all there .
The course is in great shape
Have played the course many time this year what a great value for the $$$$ thanks golf now
Not a good course. Has potential, needs LOTS of work
I have played many of the courses in the St. Louis area and surrounding. This is by far the least enjoyable one I have played. When I was there, the fairways were in terrible shape, there were only good patches that were actually "fairway shape" to hit out. The rough was very tall, not in a good challanging way. Just in a way that made me lose my ball when I had it land 10 yards off the fairway. I ended up leaving after the 13th hole because I was sick of losing balls that I should have easily found, as well as should have had a fine approach shot. Do yourself a favor and do not go here until they figure their things out. Many many other courses in St. Louis - IL that are 100x better.
Coarse has long fairways challenging greens.
Coarse was in great conditions and well kept. The greens are fast and challenging. Will definitely be returning soon. The pace was relaxed.
Worth every penny. Even better than I remember.
Great place. Challenging, but wife loved it too. She's about a 50 handicap! Pace of play was great. Wide open.
Nice Course
I have played this course a few times now. Very nice, elegant design. I would recommend playing at least once. The course stays in great shape year round. Greens were really fast.
Played the coarse and it was in excellent shape. Very enjoyable experience and the pace was excellent. Long drives on all Par 3, 4, and 5's. Greens are in excellent condition. I will definitely return to play this one.
