Spencer T. Olin Is The Best Value In The St. Louis Metro Area
I thought Spencer T. Olin was in great shape. The only issues would be some fairways have some rough areas from poor drainage, the greens were on the slower side and the person in the pro shop was not the most personable person you will meet. We paid $42 for weekday senior rate, which is a value for this upscale course.
Great day of golf
This was my first time playing this course. The staff went above and beyond to make this experience great. The course was beautiful, fairways and greens were spot on. We will be back.
Assistant Pro …uggh
This is the second time the Assistant pro has not been hospitable. The first time he wanted to pair me in a cart with someone I didn’t know. Wanting me to walk to the first tee to try to find the person I was to ride with. This time my playing partner checked us in and said our guest was going to be a few minutes late. If you want to go you gotta go now. Send the assistant pro to some hospitality training, please.
Great course love to layout
Everything was awesome we were moving right along on the front nine and when we got to number 10 it was backed up because the pro or whoever the guy was working in the shop sent off people off the back nine which is absolutely ridiculous!
Spencer T. Is on point!
Great course and in great shape. I’ve played this course 10 times this year. Before that I hadn’t played it since highschool (25 years ago). I love this course. It has a great layout, decently long, and always well manicured.
Cart path only
Nice coarse and friendly staff
. Wet and cart path only is the only downside to this day. All other things were great.
Rain
Got in 9 holes then rained out! Course is wonderful
“We’re lucky to have Spencer T. Olin Golf Course right in our backyard. It’s a challenging track that’ll keep you honest, but it’s always in solid shape and has all the amenities you could ask for. For the price, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better course around. Tough enough to keep it interesting… but still a lot more fun than whatever else you could be doing that day.”
First timer
Played it for the first time, was in great shape and greens were looking great especially for early season!
Best Shape I've Seen Spencer T. Olin
Spencer T. Olin was in the best shape I've seen it and it was mid-March. The greens were really good. The only minor blemish I saw was on the par 3 - 7th hole green. 2 areas on the left side. The weekday senior rate of $42 is excellent too.
