“We’re lucky to have Spencer T. Olin Golf Course right in our backyard. It’s a challenging track that’ll keep you honest, but it’s always in solid shape and has all the amenities you could ask for. For the price, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better course around. Tough enough to keep it interesting… but still a lot more fun than whatever else you could be doing that day.”

Played it for the first time, was in great shape and greens were looking great especially for early season!
Best Shape I've Seen Spencer T. Olin
Spencer T. Olin was in the best shape I've seen it and it was mid-March. The greens were really good. The only minor blemish I saw was on the par 3 - 7th hole green. 2 areas on the left side. The weekday senior rate of $42 is excellent too.
Excellent course. Well manicured. Generous fairways and greens in good condition. Very good value for the money.
Criminals on the range.
Course is a challenging layout, especially when your 56 degree Callaway Opus wedge with a 115 gram dynamic gold black steel is stolen from the practice green after leaving it for 5 minutes. We used to live in a society, but when even golfers steal, nothing is sacred.
My fave local course, so I'm a tad biased 😁🤷🏼♂️
The "staff friendliness" question is only a 3 due to the guy at the counter. He was overall rude. I thought it was insulting when he checked to see if I actually paid for a bucket of balls. I do realize he was being diligent, but I paid through the app. Why would I lie about it? I was treated like family at President Trump's course in Pallo Verdes, only to come into a rundown clubhouse to be treated like a second class citizen??? Over a small bucket of balls, at that. Whatever dude.
The bartender was a total sweetheart, though, so the 3 isn't about her.
As mentioned in the title, this is my favorite local course, so I always enjoy the course itself. Counter dude needs a self check and attitude adjustment.

Pace of play horrible had to wait on every hole
Took 5 1/2 hour to play.
Staff at snack bar not good went there twice no one was there horrible short staffed
Super Slow
First time playing this course. Had heard great things. Loved the layout. Super slow. No Marshall. I was surprised since it is a municipal course and they almost always have one. Needed one. 5 1/2 hours for 18 on a hot day. Course is in good shape. Bunkers could use some work.

Fabulous A. Palmer layout. In great shape. Speed of play was great. Great value.
Fantastic Course
For late summer and the lack of rain, the course is still in amazing condition. The pace was slow, but it was a holiday weekend and to be expected. The staff is always a delight and we love to get out and around this challenging track.
