Deerpath is typical for the North Shore. Well conditioned but for a Wednesday afternoon in late September, overpriced at $51 riding.

Decent, but a few frustrating details

No fringe on any of the greens plus extremely thick rough mix for really difficult play around the green. Plus: sign at the ninth Teebox with menu and phone number to place an order at the clubhouse for food at the turn.

I can’t believe GolfNow and Deerpath allowed this course to take reservations. I lost balls in the green side bunkers because there was so much water I couldn’t see the ball. This course was not in any sort of playable conditions. We couldn’t even get to some tee boxes because there was so much flooding. Perfect tee shots landed in puddles

Good local place. However don't pay full price for one reason: major renovation on hole 17 and 18 knocking those two yardage down to nearly half. A problem? Not a major one, but why pay full price to not use the full course? Nowhere is this mentioned, and may be the reason the course was so empty.
