Deerfield Golf Club

For November, the greens rolled well ( a number of them were recently aerated and top soiled - taking that into consideration, I can see where these are good greens.

Fun layout with some open and some tight holes. Multiple tee boxes for all players.

Very nice staff, course is fun to play and is well maintained.

It took 5 hrs to finish on the weekday. We waited at least 5minutes every hole to tee off. Need rangers.

I was on their driving range warming up. Came to the first tee to tee off. Starter said I missed my time. I was 1 minute late according to my phone and had spent 5 minutes to get my cart (they make you get your own cart there) This has never happened to me in the 40 years I have be playing.
The only other time I played there I played in a four sum with a Grandfather and his 12 year old Grandson. They were playing best ball. The ranger drove up to us and said this is not a course for beginners and that the Grandson shouldn’t be playing. There was a 4sum of women in front of us walking and we were waiting on them every hole. I willl not return. I have never been to a course where the staff was so rude

Got a good deal,usually an expensive course. Really nice, and convenient to the north side of the city. Really fast green!

We found a great deal for this round included with cart. Course was in great shape. Fairways were well manicured as were the greens. However, the first cut on some greens were a little high. Pace was good even though there were lots of golfers on the course. The staff was terrific, very friendly and professional. Really enjoyed the round. Thank you!

Had a tee time at 9:10 a.m , went to pro shop and wasn’t told hello or how May I help you, 2 employees and myself just kind of stood there and looked at each other until I said uuhh I am here for my tee time? And then had to pay $16 for a spectator fee (ride along fee) for my 5 year old which I mean cmon. Also I didn’t see any amenities open. Got to turn 9 around 11 a.m and the food shop was closed. Finished around 12 p.m after only getting through to 11 holes. But for the price i should’ve payed just going by myself and the condition of the course and how fun it was it’s a decent value going through the GolfNow app. Wouldn’t recommend to any friends but might go by myself to play.

Everything is good but #1 tee area is pretty crowdy.

Course was in good condition. Pace of play was slow. I was on twosome and threesome ahead of us played tips and should not have. Made things very slow. Otherwise was a nice day

Decided to play this course because of the price. Around $30 with a cart for 18. It was mid day on a weekday so it was pretty open and even though it had rained substantially the morning and night before the course was only a little bit wet with zero puddles and flooding issues. For the front 9 it was cart path only but the course superintendent came out to check the conditions and changed it to carts on Fairway. Most courses would have just kept it to cart path only the whole day so I appreciated the attentiveness to wanting to make the experience as god as possible. Will definitely come back again.
