Mendota Golf Course

This course is a hidden gem. Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. I avoided the bunkers, but they looked to be in very good shape with plenty of sand. A 10 mph wind and elevation changes added to the challenge. Staff was super friendly,

Go there at least once a week, great staff. Course is all ways in good shape, would recommend this course for all golfers.

We would like to play this course on a normal day. This one had 30 and 40 mph winds throughout our play. Many tee shots went astray without our help, putts would suddenly change course right before the hole - it was just a "hang-onto-your-hat" kind of day,

The challenging layout has lots of hills, modals, small greens and water, but the fairways are generous and the rough is well maintained - all surrounded by cornfields

You can't beat the value for the type of course it is.

Try to get there at least one time a week, great course to play all ways in fairly good shape.

First time playing this course. Got a great deal online. Great pace, quite, we had a great time. We will defiantly go back.

We played on a Sunday, which was a very busy day. There was a large group of 4-somes ready to tee who let us play through on the first tee, and that saved our day. The course is very nice and was in good condition. The greens are small, and home course knowledge would go a long way toward scoring better. The staff were very friendly, and the other golfers we encountered were as well. Looking forward to playing here again.

Had a second great visit to Mendota. Very nice layout. This time I played from the back tees... Made things more challenging. The greens are very small, which means bring a good short chipping game :o).

As I was playing alone, was allowed to play through two groups, and it made the experience even better. Finished under 2.5 hours. Elevated greens on par 3's made for a nice challenge. Greens are very consistent and in good shape. Water can come into play on a number of holes.

Another course,like shady oaks where you can't judge the difficulty by the yardage. Tough 2nd shots into small greens. Good condition and we played in 3 hours. Friendly staff too. Will be back.

Great challenging golf course. The greens are small on most holes. The day we played the greens where really hard and fast not forgiving for hitting great shots. would recommend for any golfer to try this course.

Fairways and rough had not been mowed in a few days making it difficult to find your ball if you missed the fairway. Greens were in pretty good condition, but were very small. Course has a very nice layout and you need to strategically plan your misses. A few greens were severely sloped making putting challenging. Staff was friendly. Would recommend this course but facility could mow a little more often making the golf experience that much better.

Nice course. Great deal on golf on late afternoon weekends. Rough is a bit too rough. If you can get there on a day when it is just cut you can actually find your ball. I know, if I hit them in the fairway I wouldn't have that problem. Other than that its a nice course.

play there all most every week, great golf course. Would recommend to all golfers to try this course.

A very well maintained course with some very challenging holes. I will certainly play course again.The course is a great value.
