Swamp Golf at it's best!
All courses in the area have been taking a lot of rain lately. I've walked several courses and Oakbrook although wet, it was in the best condition. We got a senior rate and 3 of us walked 18 holes so even though conditions weren't optimal we felt it was a good value. Also the from desk and cafe people were very accommodating. We enjoyed the day!
March season golf
Overall, considering the time of year and the recent rain, the course was in good shape. Compared to the summer however, the course was in post-winter shape. I hope to see more yardage markers on the fairways as the weather warms up. Thank you.

Course was in good condition for early spring golf round. Pace was ok given the number people trying to play this early in the season. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable day at the course
Very slow pace of play
Walking course - would discourage renting a cart, especially during wet conditions (CPO). Pace of play was slow, but early in the season. Bar and food service is great. Overall, great course.
Nice track
Playing Oak Brook is always a good time. They do a nice job in maintaining the course. The restaurant and bar is also a nice touch. For those who want to walk, it is a very walkable course. Pro shop personnel are welcoming.
Slow bumbp greens
Great new clubhouse- too bad that didn't spend money on the course- there are no yardage markers- no beer cart on course
Fun course to play on a beautiful sunny but windy early fall Saturday afternoon. A great mix of easy and challenging holes (including, #13 of course - took an 8 and messed up an other wise good round). The Bob Packard greens are great.
Unfortunately, the golf course was jammed with slow play - each of the holes were filled all day with two foursomes often waiting on each tee. There was nothing the marshals could do. We teed off at 1:12 PM (amazingly on time) but did not finish until 6:38 PM. It really put a damper on our good time.
