Good outing
Course is in pretty good shape..greens were a little slow.
Over booked!
Course itself wasn’t bad. We pulled up to the first tee and had 6 carts ahead of us waiting…this pretty much slowed the entire day. After finishing g every hole we were waiting to tee off. They clearly over book their tee times.
Dissatisfied
Played this course since I was a kid. More or less a knock around course not to challenging compared to Anbriar or Gateway etc.. But today we were rushed on pace of play even though we played 9 in 2 and 18 in 4 right on average. Fairways were nice but bunkers and greens looked like Cresthaven back in the day in Belleville. Way too expensive for the overall experience. Play the Legay way nicer greens and staff or Acorns same price better course and less over privileged a!?’bbbnbbb .Golf is supposed to be fun not stressful .Had to make this review because I’m just so disgusted with arrogant people.
Pete Dye might cry
Drove an hour to play this Pete Dye design and was disappointed. Crabgrass was abundant on tee boxes. Lots of dead areas through the fairways and near cart paths. Sand traps were like dirt. Course layout lacked creativity with the exception of the last two holes.
Good round
Pretty good course n layout..greens are very good! However, pace of play is in the dumps! I never finish a complete round at this course..maybe get 13-15 hole n ..just takes too long to do 18!

Was very pleased with this round. Course is perfect challenge for my game... Not too tight, but tree lined fairway still can punish poor tee shots. Greens were very good, definitely wiil return...
Father’s Day Round
Terrible tee sheet management. They knew it would be crowded on a day like Father’s Day and still didn’t put spacer tee times on the tee sheet. Played behind a 7-some who had never played golf in their lives and the “Marshall” didn’t do anything about it. Pace of place was terrible, took just over 3 hours to play 9 holes and we even skipped a hole. I asked for a rain check the back nine but I don’t know if I even want to go back.
Tamarack 5-Star Treat
Play this early Pete Dye if you can! Staff and course are great, stop by19th hole for quick friendly food and drink service. Tees are shaping up nicely, fairways are lush, greens have Dyeabolical breaks, and don’t hit into the rough, it’ll penalize you. Couple driveable par 4s on the back nine. Only drawback is driving range is irons only, ~200yards max.
