Great golf
Really enjoyed playing this course open Fairways not a lot of interference but yet challenging very good staff
Worth the 1 hr drive from home.
Course conditions were very good. I would rate them up with the better public courses in St. Louis area.
Fun
Tamarack has a great layout and is in good condition. The staff is always friendly and the price is fair.
Cart path Condition
Overall, well groomed course. Tee box a little close to previous green and the carrt path condition was not so good.
Good Option
I like this course but it can be slower particularly the front nine with a reachable par 5 2nd followed by a par 3. It took us an hour to play the first 3 holes. It was a busy Father’s Day Sunday at 10:30 am so I would expect it to be a little slower.
Good layout and in good condition with a nice mix of tough and reasonable holes. Great staff at the front desk and bar area. I will be back but might play later in the day on the weekends.
Have always liked
Tamarack is one of those courses you go to so you can feel better about your game. Normally in good shape, not overly hard, but having some interest.
The issue this time was the water. It was everywhere. Puddles in the fairways, traps filled, tees wet, creeks up. With nowhere to go, the water just sits there. Greens were OK.
All that said, I will be back because I know what this course can be.
Overpriced
Overpriced compared to other courses in the area. Sand bunkers are some of the worst. Full of rocks. No water coolers on the course.

Very professional
We had a 10 o’clock tee time canceled because of a heavy rain that night before.
The course actually called to let me know my reservation was canceled and that I needed to contact Golf Now to cancel it there. I went to Teetime and it was already canceled.
I wish everything in life was this easy!
Greens
The greens are fast and definitely test your putting.
