Hospitality!!
We were very impressed with the hospitality of all the employees. The course was in excellent shape considering all the rain we have had. Had a very enjoyable round of golf. Will be back soon!! Thank you!!
Enjoyable round
Somewhat tight course surrounded by residential homes. Enough water and trees to challenge you if wayward shot is off fairway. Greens were in excellent shape. Plan to play again soon.
Enjoyable Golf!
Although it's obvious that this course has had to cut back costs in some areas ( lots of dandilions in the rough ), the layout, staff friendliness, and bargain green fee
more than makes up for it! What a fun and challenging afternoon. Thank you.
Slow pace of play
Course was packed and no starter to monitor people teeing off, group of 4 held up several groups of people took 5+ hours to play 18. The nice part about the place is having a guy bring a cart right out to my car
Awesome staff
This place is great! Head over heels better than the municipal courses in indy. The course is always maintained well. Weddings and party's are common at Valle Vista so in turn, it is always adequately staffed and everyone is nice and greets you with a smile. Love playing here.
Course is usually nicer...
The greens are coming back from airating decently. Couple rough spots. People aren't fixing their ball marks!! The greens here are usually immaculate. I have played here for years, they will recover. It's just that time of year. I love the layout. The people that complain about the houses aren't very good golfers. The houses do not come into play. The layout is more than fair, but has a couple challenging long par 4s if you are not long off the tee. The are not 2 holes the same. great variety in this layout. the staff continues to be among the best I've ever experienced. Overall, I would definitely recommend this course. Great value and at certain times of the year, one of the best courss in the area. 8 handicap. Shot 77 this day from tips.
The Vista
I have played here for years. Compared to other local courses Vista is in much better shape than most. The new sand in all the traps are the best on the southside ! I know how to book a tee time and always ask Brandon or Mitch about leagues and outings. Never really played a round out there over 3 1/2 hours. I enjoy the reasonable pricing and customer service. It's better to book on Valle Vista golf.com than Golfnow.

Very good local course
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Playing weekends can be a task but course Marshalls help keep people on track and on time while still being friendly
Shaggy and slow
My wife and I are new to the area and are playing new courses every weekend. This course is close to the house so we thought we would give it a try. Its an older course with mature trees and very narrow. I like how tight the course that's what makes it somewhat challenging. Pace of play was horrible. The groups in front of us had no idea of ready golf. We tee of first thing in the morning to beat the crowds, so when we asked the group in front of us if we skipped a hole could we play through they said OK. This was on hole #8. This was the only group that went in front of us off #1. To our surprise we get to hole #11 and it was backed up again. They started groups off of the back 9 also plugging up the entire course. Not real happy with management. We have found better courses in the area already for the price.

First time playing this course and like it. Hittem straight and youll like it also.
Greens are in GREAT shape and sand was a pleasure (if thats possible) to hit out of. Will for sure play again.
Their carts are super fast lol be ready!! Not sure if Ive ever seen a comment concerning carts/speed of them but GEEZUS these are FAST!!
Slow golf
I played this course on a Friday morning and the pace of play was terrible it took me 5 hours to finish the round

It's been a long time
It's been a LONG LONG time since I played Valle Vista. About 15 years. It is a tight course with lots of houses and apartments around. Hit it straight. I was OVERWHELMED at how nice this course was. The fairways and greens were in very good shape. The rough was some of the best I have seen in the area. I almost didn't book the hot deal because the price was so low. Actually I didn't book it at all last year for that reason. I could kick myself. Bring your A game and straight game and enjoy it.

Not sure it's at $30+ course, but a good course all the same.

Over booked
Went with a friend around 2 PM on a Monday. The guy at the pro shop made us play with a random third guy which I feel was ridiculous. Then it was so overbooked it took us an 90 minutes to play 5 holes. There was no reason to have it so booked. We left after the 5th hole, it was ridiculous. Terrible first outing. Wont be coming back.
We're sorry that your experience wasn't up to your standards. You booked as a 2-some, online, and someone else booked the other spot on your tee time. Tee times are made up of 4-somes. Our policy is, when we're busy which we were, to pair those groups up. This helps with the pace of play. Otherwise, it becomes extremely slow. Before your group teed off, we teed off 7 4-somes in a row. I apologize about the pace of play. If you played 5 holes in 90 minutes, that's unacceptable. Our Rangers should have been on top of that. A few of those groups in front of you only played 9 holes. I hope that the back nine was better for you. As a rule, we will pair up groups, when we are busy. Again, I'm sorry for your experience.
