The course was in good shape; however the ladies tee boxes are in need of attention. Many have little grass between the red tee blocks….lots of hard dirt though and the grass that was there were in clumps. When leaving the tee box on 17, the concrete cart path as you drive down hill, is completely broken through with nothing but void below (like a sink hole). If we had driven over it at average speed, I’m almost certain we would have damaged the cart and possibly been thrown from the cart. Luckily, we saw the sink hole in advance and was able to navigate around it. There were no cones, caution signs, or warning tape blocking off this part of the cart path.
Other than that, we enjoyed the course as it wasn’t busy and the pace of play was comfortable.
Friendly staff, but course is in need of some TLC.
I played April 15 at 6:45 am. I was the first golfer out. The course has some holes of challenging length for plus 10 handicap, but also has a couple short par4's on the back nine which made it enjoyable. The problem is the grass in the fairways has plenty of bare spots and when I played hadn't been mowed recently, although they were mowing on this day. You could barely notice the fairway from the short rough while standing on tee box. Tee boxes were not mowed and lots of bare spots. The sand traps needed to be mowed...enough said. Clubhouse signs need painting. Overall, the aesthetics of this place left a lot to be desired. My impression was this place looked like it may be closing soon. Money is not there for upkeep evidently. The positives are I enjoyed myself, the greens were in good shape, and the gentleman employee was friendly and helpful. A large bar and grill sitting area is provided. It has the potential to be a very nice course.
For early in the year it was in great shape
Main complaint is no ball washers and bathrooms closed
Long course
Course was in nice shape and the greens are rolling true.
Just glad they’re open to get some swings in.
