About
Oak Springs Golf Club is tucked away amid the rolling hills and wooded plains of St. Anne. Though it feels peacefully secluded, it's conveniently situated less than an hour from Chicago. As one of the premiere golf courses in Kankakee County, it has a layout that appeals to players of all skill levels and it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are some challenging holes but the rough is very forgiving in case hitting it straight isn't one of your strengths. The front nine features fairways lined with mature trees and there are some tough par 3s to contend with. The more player-friendly back nine at Oak Springs Golf Club is wide open and offers some great scoring opportunities. There are subtle but tricky undulations throughout and you'll also run into water occasionally.

Great attack!
This track is always fun to play, always in great shape!!
Greens great as always
This course never fails. Last minute deals are usually available. Greens are some of the best in the area. Fairways are always cut. You will enjoy your round here.
Value!
The course is a bit of a drive from the South Suburbs (near Kankakee), but it s better kept than most of the courses in the suburbs. There is a steady stream of golfers, but you can easily finish this course in 4-4.4 hours. The course has challenging pin placements and a nice layout, a few water hazards,etc. but still provides a nice challenge considering it’s a pretty flat course.the clubhouse has reasonably priced food and drink. There are also carts that come around to restock you out on the course. Overall, it is a hidden gem. Way better value than you’ll see up in Orland, Homewood, or Joliet areas.

Great course for the price
Oak Springs is one of the best courses in the area for an average golfer with a budget. I would have rated it higher if the traps were in better condition.
Always worth it
Course was not busy for a Sunday afternoon, played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours
Best Course in Kankakee County
Oak Springs is in the best shape of any courses in the area. They groom the course regularly when others just make excuses. Staff is very friendly and accommodating Food is good too..
