Oak Springs Golf Course
About
Oak Springs Golf Club is tucked away amid the rolling hills and wooded plains of St. Anne. Though it feels peacefully secluded, it's conveniently situated less than an hour from Chicago. As one of the premiere golf courses in Kankakee County, it has a layout that appeals to players of all skill levels and it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are some challenging holes but the rough is very forgiving in case hitting it straight isn't one of your strengths. The front nine features fairways lined with mature trees and there are some tough par 3s to contend with. The more player-friendly back nine at Oak Springs Golf Club is wide open and offers some great scoring opportunities. There are subtle but tricky undulations throughout and you'll also run into water occasionally.

Greens roll perfectly
We were met with friendly service in club house. We actually got to start 7 minutes early. Pace of play was excellent( 3 1/2 hrs). Greens in excellent condition and rolled smoothly.
Wonderful Day
This is about the 4th or 5th time I have played Oak Springs. I enjoy this course very much, for the beginning
of spring the course was in great shape. I'll definitely be back to play again, and into the summer and fall.
I find it very offensive that some of the the staff reall don't nt like Golfnow users.. They act you're cheating them out of money..If they don't like GolfNow, don't honor it. I'll bet they like all the new benches, I won't be golfing there very much in the future, there's many courses in the area
Well maintained course!
Even late in the season, Oak Springs golf course is in great condition. The course is a hidden gem in the Kankakee area. It’s in better shape than the popular courses like Silver Lakes and George Dunn in the South Suburbs. While the layout of many of the wholes are pretty straightforward, there are still some challenging doglegs and water shots. The tee and pin placements can often make this course tougher than it looks. It’s my favorite course South of I-80.
Worst Time Golfing
Frequent golfer at Oak Springs. Love the course. But sometimes pace of play is just miserable. Took us 3 hours to finish 9 holes on a Friday late morning. Sat on each tee box for 10 minutes each hole. Couldn’t believe it. Before our round even started, the front desk lady was quite rude, and this isn’t the first time my crew and I have felt that way. Probably gonna take my money elsewhere now.
The course itself is awesome don’t get me wrong.
Great value
Wonderful country course that is very well maintained. Pro shop is minimal and the kitchen doesn't open until 4pm on weekdays (dogs and brats are available earlier), but the course itself is well worth playing.
Enjoy golf with your xon
This is my get away course to play golf with my son. We can play 27 holes in three hours when it’s the hottest time of the day. It’s a challenging course for this bag of bones and I love watching my boy attack the course!
Stall are some of the nicest petiole you would ever meet.
Condition of the course is fantastic!
Only wish this course was a little closer to Chicago, but the I do not think we could play 27 holes in three Jupiter.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
