About
Oak Springs Golf Club is tucked away amid the rolling hills and wooded plains of St. Anne. Though it feels peacefully secluded, it's conveniently situated less than an hour from Chicago. As one of the premiere golf courses in Kankakee County, it has a layout that appeals to players of all skill levels and it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are some challenging holes but the rough is very forgiving in case hitting it straight isn't one of your strengths. The front nine features fairways lined with mature trees and there are some tough par 3s to contend with. The more player-friendly back nine at Oak Springs Golf Club is wide open and offers some great scoring opportunities. There are subtle but tricky undulations throughout and you'll also run into water occasionally.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
I have golfed this course many times without an issue but today was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had while golfing. Today we had 12 golfers going out in 3 teams. Almost immediately our first group started getting harassed by the ranger/owner, saying that they were playing too slow even tho my group who was next was not having to wait on them. After being told they were going to slow my friend informed him that they were playing best ball and going as fast as possible, apparently that wasn’t fast enough. He then followed and mean mugged us thru the whole front 9 shaking his head and was visibly upset even tho we were doing nothing wrong and playing at a reasonable speed with no one else behind our group of 12. At the turn we all wanted to go in and use the bathroom. Grab a drink/hotdog. The club house was a little busier than normal so we obviously had to wait a small amount of time. ( 5 minutes if that). After our whole group was in the club house waiting to be served the owner came in raising his voice in front of everyone telling us we don’t have time to eat and we can’t be talking so much that people are waiting on us. Again there was no one behind us for 2 holes. One friend spoke up and said if someone is waiting on us to play thru cause we were waiting on his staff to serve us. He became very upset and then screamed that we are taking way to long and needed to hurry up which made the whole bar very awkward and quiet. We then quickly got our snacks and drinks and moved on. And here he came again just following us around and mean mugging us and shaking his head. After our round of golf we wanted to speak with him to see what was really going on. He drove up on his golf cart, seen us and turned the other way and drove off.
After having this experience me and my group of golfing friends which consists of over 30 people will not be returning and taking our business to other golf courses in the area.
Don’t waste your time or your money and have the owner rob you of your joy.

I made 2 tee times thru app for me and buddy, course didn’t have 1 of my reservation shown in their system even tho I had the confirmation for both only 1 showed up, they honored it but not sure how that could happen. Course said that they had someone in the time slot that I booked (even showed them on my phone the time and confirmation) but they showed someone else was at the time and didn’t even show both of my reservations
