About
Oak Springs Golf Club is tucked away amid the rolling hills and wooded plains of St. Anne. Though it feels peacefully secluded, it's conveniently situated less than an hour from Chicago. As one of the premiere golf courses in Kankakee County, it has a layout that appeals to players of all skill levels and it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are some challenging holes but the rough is very forgiving in case hitting it straight isn't one of your strengths. The front nine features fairways lined with mature trees and there are some tough par 3s to contend with. The more player-friendly back nine at Oak Springs Golf Club is wide open and offers some great scoring opportunities. There are subtle but tricky undulations throughout and you'll also run into water occasionally.

It is by far the best course around. Well taken care of. Staff is friendly. Food is great! I love this place!
it's ok
it all depends what you're looking for. i saw the high rating on this site, wanted to check it out. was first golfer off on a cool tuesday morning (off at 7am), played the blue tees. didn't play well but still had a decent score. a few holes, got stuck in trees, cost me, but many holes are wide open. not a fan of the 4th, big dogleg left, need to hook it off the tee, straight ball goes thru fairway. par 3's are pretty solid, 8th is a good test from back tees. the tees needed cutting, there was some deer damage in fairways, but again, i was out early. overall, it was fine, which is why it gets a 3 rating.

It’s always a good time at Oak Springs. They take fantastic care of the place. It’s always fun I recommend it to anybody.

Oak Springs is a Winner
As a member of a private country club in the area, Oak Springs is the next best thing around in the Kankakee County community. The atmosphere is always relaxed and the course is almost always in good shape. It is a treat to play here. I average 30 rounds of golf each summer and i more than likely play Oak Springs close to half of those times out. It’s a good time always and the staff is friendly and helpful.
