Superintendent is a real piece of work. Course has gone to crap, it’s like playing in a cow pasture
Better
Course is improving. Sand traps have vastly improved.
There is still some tidying up to do. It's a tough time of year to critique..There were a lot of bare spots on the fairways. Overall, it is a nice links course. One of the few in the area. A good value.
Golf day
The tee boxes are in horrible shape, no water provided on the course. No one fixes their divots. You pay for what you get.

Greens and fairways were in decent shape considering the heat we have had recently. Tee boxes could use some water
Vacation golf at its best
We played a relaxing round in the heat, then rain which cooled us, then the heat again.
During the rain we visited the club house resturaunt, excellent service and food.
Greens were fast. Fairways were in good shape just sad I couldn't keep it in the fairway.... LOL.
Carts were in good shape. Only complaint was shirt size selection was limited. Would have bought 4 shirts if we had our sizes.
Iron Horse Cart paths
WE loved the corse and the way the grounds are kept up But, Them cart paths are full of rough bumps, cracked asphalt very bad , Bad enough it's better to drive on the grass than the cart paths . Recommend tearing the paths out, and put new smooth paths in.
Great place for the price.
Was great! Staff were friendly, food and drinks are pretty expensive for the area and there were some bad spots on a lot of the greens but other than that it was a super great course.
Great course
Friendly staff. Love the links style layout. We'll maintained, fast greens.
Overall the course was in great shape. Best I have seen it in 3 years. Greens however were a different story. Very bumpy and lots of dead spots. Overall a great day of golf.
