Madrona Links Golf Course first opened in 1978, and has since become one of the most active clubs in the Puget Sound area. Located in Gig Harbor, the course is conveniently located on the peninsula with easy access to Tacoma Narrows and Highway 16. The layout has a classic links design that is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels. Small, deep bunkers frame both the greens and fairways. Madrona Links requires accuracy, but it's not overly punishing if you're slightly errant. With only gently rolling hills, the golf course is an easy walk. At just over 5,600 yards from the back tees, it's relatively short but you will still face some challenging shots. This popular course is one of the best values in the area.

I live in Gig Harbor and have played plenty of other golf courses. I consider Madrona my home course. The staff is great!!!
Perfect round
I was paired up with a couple of folks for the round. We were first players out for the day. It was so quiet, no breeze and of course, pace of play was brisk. Recommend Madrona.
Great course
Course was in great condition. Greens were fast. Played 18 in 3.5 hours.
BAD ATTITUDE
The gentleman in the pro shop doesn't appreciate anyone that takes advantage of Golf Now Hot Deals. I arrived at the course 20 minutes prior to my tee time 7:15 am - the course was wide open with no other golfers waiting to get out. We asked the pro shop if we could tee off early and we were told that if we paid more we would be allowed to tee off 15 minutes early. The person at the counter told us he hated Golf Now and it was a former employee that signed up the service and they never should have.

My guests told me that the person behind the counter was the rudest person that had ever waited on them. They do not want to come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOOD COURSE TO WORK ON YOU GAME
THIS COURSE ISNT REAL LONG, BUT IT SURE CHALLENGES YOUR MIDRANGE IRONS AND PUTTING.... IE YOU USE YOUR DRIVER ON SEVERAL HOLES, YOU BETTER BE STRAIGHT
Fun little joint
Like many courses in WA state, Madrona Links is a smaller course with a group of par 4s on the short side. Madrona makes up for this with fast greens that break consistently. 150 yard range and putting green are right next to hole 1, no need for a cart. Overall, it was a fun little round that tests your putting on each green. Plus, Gig Harbor is a cool retreat.
Concrete Greens! Meh Clubhouse staff
Yesterday was an odd experience! My foursome for reasons had to bail. the course was of course angry we didn't let him no sooner! The short range is annoying. I was using balls from the 90's. The guy in the clubhouse could have been nicer. I couldn't use anything over a 7 iron...And they start you on a par five. The course was pretty greens were rock hard...made the day less enjoyable! would be in the middle of a fairway and have a shot with the ball up around my belly button. I golf a lot of Municipal courses and was very disappointed start to finish. Probably wont be back!
