Highlands Golf Course in Tacoma, Wash. is a nine-hole course that can be played in just over an hour. All of the holes are par 3 except for one par 4. It's not your typical nine-hole course, the layout is like a full-size course shrunken down to a par 3 with several challenging elements that will test your short-game skills. The terrain is relatively flat, making it an easy golf course to walk, and it is relatively protected from the winds. The sand traps are sparse but strategically placed, and water hazards come into play occasionally as well. Highlands Golf Course is an ideal layout for beginners to get some short-game practice, but for more advanced players it's an excellent option for a quick round that is more challenging than your average nine-hole layout.

Nice little executive course tucked inside a well kept mature neighborhood. Looks like they have made a lot of updates under the new ownership and it definitely shows. Several challenging and fun holes. I will definitely be back!
Quick round
First time here and loved the layout. It wasn't too busy and had a solid pace of play. They have a few events coming up that look fun
Best Par 3 I’ve played
I love playing Highland par 3 golf course. If it was closer to my home I would play it once or twice a week. I love everything about this golf course! And the price through GolfNow is absolutely incredibly good!!!
Small but fun
Par three course. Great to tune your short game and get some swings. Can be challenging if you don’t hit them straight.
Spring golf
I’ve golfed Highlands several times over the years. The staff does a great job maintaining the course and taking care of customers.
Three of us got through 9 holes in an hour. Good course to work on irons:)

My wife and I play here almost weekly. Always in great shape. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Best place for a quick round.
Beautiful course, fast greens.
They've done a lot to this course over the last few years with their beautiful water features. The greens were extremely fast yesterday comparable to arizona. Staff very friendly.
