Still one of the best public tracks in Western Suburbs
This is a tough course. And the front nine and back nine are completely different. Front: traditional parkway, tree lined fairways, undulation and rather small greens. I like that. The back is totally flat, links like and has water everywhere, in comparison. This is not a bad thing but you can ruin your score if you do not think your shots out on the safe side. Overall, the tee boxes, fairways, sand and greens are kept in good shape…and usually one of those is deficient at most other public courses.
Course Review
The course was in good shape but some of the "members" are very rude! A gentleman yelled at one our foursome for walking as he was trying to chip..........30 yards away from each other.
We only saw the cart lady one time in 18 holes which was very upsetting because of the heat and conditions. She was extremely nice when we did see her.
The gentleman that was the starter was a very nice guy with a good sense of humor. He gave us course advice for certain holes....which was interesting.
The wait staff at the outdoor bar was very nice and polite
This course has a great front 9
Hadn't played this course in about 15 years and found the front nine to be very picturesque and enjoyable. The back nine is a different course and can be tough to navigate. Course was in great condition and I did enjoy it and would go back.
Staff and Course
Everyone is always so friendly and helpful
The Course was in very good shape
Always enjoy playing Seven Bridges
Keep it up….

It was awesome. The only down fall. I like to take care of the kids at the end and I did but went to the range the next day and my clubs were filthy. Not a big deal but I do make it worth doing a nice job
We are glad you had an awesome day on our course. Thank you for your feedback regarding your clubs'; we will pass it on to our staff. We look forward to seeing you out here again soon.
I’ll be back
Long and very fair course, well-laid out and in terrific shape. Beautiful and fully mature. Does no one repair their ball marks on the greens? Many of them are badly scarred from ball marks. Sand traps are definitely the weakest link. Great spot outside to have a drink or a bite after your round. Food was great and the wait staff was very friendly.
Thank you for the nice review! We always try and stress the importance of repairing ball marks and divots to our guests on the 1st tee. We appreciate the feedback and will share your experience with our team. Hope to see you back at the course again soon!!
Hello. We appreciate the review. You rated us 3-stars which means there is room to improve on your recent experience at Seven Bridges Golf Club. Let us know, in the comments, how and where you would like to see changes from the course. Thanks for the feedback!
Two courses in one!
The course starts out very pleasant. When you get to the back 9 it toughens up with the water …. Be careful and straight.
Thank you! We hope to see you back here soon.
Mr
Flexibility is needed
Due to too slow play of the front teams,
We could not play 3holes among 18th.
That was regretted.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Seven Bridges Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Still 3.3 stars and still way overpriced
Go to page 3 of the reviews below and then scroll to find my very detailed review of 9/16/21. Pretty much the same experience except this time the course was completely empty despite it being gorgeous warm Wednesday afternoon. We had a 130pm and no one had teed off for at least an hour in front of us and the next time taken was 230pm. Yep a completely empty golf course. I was invited to play gratis by friends as one of them bought a $50 hot deal foursome they needed to fill out. Their 4th cancelled the evening prior. Post round without any prompting my friends even remarked the $50 they each spent felt expensive which is probably the one of many reasons why the course was so empty the afternoon of a wonderful summer day.. Lots of brown ball marks on a lot of the greens....several greens I had to fix more than one fresh ball mark from the morning. Otherwise the course is in good shape except bunkers where several need refurbishment of sand or renovated.
They have a 60+ Senior rate.. $65 M thru F but prior to noon only? That's still way too expensive. and it should be an all day senior rate (completely empty afternoon tee sheet guys) because you can play fairly nearby Ruffled Feathers (a far better course design) for $60 senior rate all day M-Th and hit as many grass range balls as you want to warm up rather than warming up in a net with mat.
Seven Bridges just isn't a $95 plus weekend course (dumb dynamic pricing with a few weekend times over $100!!) nor is it an $85 weekday course. The course is claustrophobic mess in several areas - the back nine is a hackers nightmare....white tees are 137 slope... go a few yards off many of the fairways or hit a bad tee shot .....you are severely penalized......average players should anticipate losing a sleeve of balls....others less proficient several sleeves. My playing partners in total easily reached double figures of lost balls and have played the course before. Accomplished players will need a least a couple of rounds experience to score well....many greens here are overly large - several are 2 or 3 clubs deep. Cart GPS is distance to the flag...not the middle of the green.
Seven Bridges does have a wonderful outdoor bar/deck to enjoy sunsets over the golf course...consider grabbing a post round beverage and perhaps a lunch/dinner bite as well.
I do recommend play on the course but for $65 plus to play it - I'll take a hard pass.....it's a $50 or under course.....much better rates can be secured in the surrounding area with just as nice of a course or better. Start to finish all of the employees we interacted with were extremely pleasant and want you to have a great experience. Nice that the course was completely empty but should it be?
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Seven Bridges Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
First Timer
Recently retired and now living the dream of playing 5 days a week.So far this week, played Big Run,Ruffled Feathers,Dubs and finally for the first time and not the last,SEVEN BRIDGES.
OUTSTANDING!!!# Great layout with excellent conditions! Midwest course at its finest!
Definitely in the rotation!
Great Course
We really enjoy this course. the greens were quick but receptive, so you could hold a shot.
Pleasantly surprised
Played here many years ago due to tricked up back nine. Front nine very scenic, back nine not as severe as I remember it. Course in great condition greens moved very well. Overall I really enjoyed it.
Thank you! See you on the course again soon.
