About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton offers 27 holes of championship golf. The entire course features water on 17 holes and 77 strategically placed bunkers. The course is divided into three nine-hole courses that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The club opened in 1927 but two of the golf courses, South and East, were renovated in 2011, followed by the West nine a year after. The golf courses are all equally challenging but they each have a unique character. The West/East Course starts with the shortest nine but it also has one of the most intimidating water holes, the par-3 seventh, which has a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water. With such a challenging variety of courses, it is not hard to imagine why Arrowhead G.C. is considered one of the best municipal golf courses in the Chicago area.

Great Golf
My first time at Arrowhead and it is very impressive! Course was in great shape even after lots of rain. We were able to get a tee time the day before and were neither held up or pushed during the round. Beautiful layout with rolling fairways and perfect greens. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!
Beautiful course
99% of the staff were so friendly. With all the rain it was amazing how well the conditions were. Even the greens rolled well. Pace of play was great. 4some in front of us (2some) let us play through on the 6th hole. I’ve not played when the tee sheet is packed so can’t be sure what it’s like then but man is the course pretty. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for in this case. Easily as good and better than many private courses I’ve played.

Great golf course layout with great greens. Only downside is no intermediary cut of rough goes from fairway to rough.

I grew up in Wheaton, playing Arrowhead since the late 70’s. It’s always been maintained exceptionally. We had a great day!
Nice Course
Everything is great, except for every time I play there's Always a lot of mosquitoes, and nats flying around. So bring some bug spray. Other than that, the course is great.The east is a little tough, though.
