Wicker Memorial Park Golf Course

It was a GolfNow reservation. Went very well. Played with another two-some. Hot, but plenty of shade. Had a great time.

Great place to just play the game and lose many balls.

Persons of color are not welcome. The staff was rude upon checking in and basically said nothing to me and handed me keys to a cart. I checked in with the starter who gave me no instructions. Another single player rode up and the starter told him he could go out with me. At hole number 5 a staff member named Mark who was cutting the fairway told us we had to go turn in the carts that the pro shop gave us and ride in one cart. I have never been given instructions by a staff member maintaining the course so I disregarded his instructions. He then proceeded to call the office. A Marshall came out and told us there would be a decision about each of us taking out a cart that the pro shop gave us. This was at hole 12, we finished our round to find several carts parked ready to be used and never heard anything else. I have never been treated like I didn’t belong on any course I have played until today. I will never play another round at this course and I suggest no one else does … unless you are a bigot.

Fun to play. Decent fairways and good greens. The old dude behind the desk was rude. Other then that, not bad.

Ran into this course by accident and honestly didn’t know what to expect. Arrived and realized the course was beautiful the staff was very friendly. The course provided enough difficulties but flowed well.

I was a single playing behind a 3some. I expected to wait. Never rushed them, would wait until they teed off before even driving up to the tee box. Never hit into or drove up on them and as they never waved me forward I didn’t say anything. However when they started hitting multiple balls after a bad shot, waiting for their other players before they even getting out of their cart never mind selecting a club I realized it wasn’t getting better. After waiting on the 11th tee for over 15 minutes while they messed around I decided to skip them. I drove past them while playing the 12th hole, the group ahead was already on the 13th green. I teed off before they finished 12. As I was about to drive away one of their members approached me and asked why they had to wait for me now. I told them I was by myself, the group ahead was already finishing the hole ahead and that I didnt want to push them. He told me he was waiting on the group ahead all day HA and made a comment under his breath while his friend held his arms up in the background. So I just left. I mentioned this to a ranger I passed who said there was nothing he could do. So; ok course. Accessible, decent condition, but if you don’t have 7 hours to play a round might want to go somewhere else

Didn't realize this course could play this long, but it can. Course was in very good condition. Great value as well.
