Great neighborhood course for all levels
Course was in great shape considering the time of year. Straight forward course layout with greens in excellent shape already. Some tough pin placements on Sunday made the round more challenging.
Casual atmosphere and decent range and practice putting greens.
Scherwood Long Course
Only problem was weather. Hit a really cold day. Couldn't hit properly. Course was great. Somewhat challenging in spots, especially the par 5's. People were pleasant and helpful. Course was maintained well. Had just aerated the greens, so a little bumpy, otherwise great.
Great Hot deal rate
The 10 dollar hot deal was well worth it for this course. The greens were in great condition and rolled true with good speed. Make sure you watch your balls off the tee after they land because the leafs will swallow them up this late in the season. On most of the holes i couldn't tell the rough from the fairways, but they were out mowing so it could be that they just started late. The pro shop had some great deals, some at 70% off. The course does have a driving ranch and putting green.
Play early
I went out around 3:30 and the mosquitoes were horrible. We have had lots of rain and they need to have it sprayed.
Course is great condition
Golf course was in awesome condition for a round in March. Fairways rolling and the greens were a nice challenge. $10 for a round and it was the best course in northwest indiana right now and I've played a few already. Will definitely be back

Not worth it
The golf course had no record of our booking through golf now. Course was severely overbooked. All the holes are right on top of each other. There are other better options in the area. Don't waste your time.
pleasingly playable
The greens were in very good condition which makes a huge difference to me. The course overall was in very good shape as well and is a very player friendly course.

Cold & Windy
Cold, Windy & wet, but the price was right, the company great, and a 3 1/2 hr round on a Sunday early afternoon is unbelievable.
Ok for the price
Condition is not great but ok for the price. Some holes are narrow and challenging. Watch out hidden creeks.
Price was right!!!!
The course has excellent layout and that's why I will be coming back. Greens were firm and had good roll to it. Pace was good it was just two of us but it was relaxing. Nobody on your tail and pushing you. We went early so that probably helped 6:15 am. The only thing that needs help our some of the fairways but won't stop me from coming back. Scenery was just beautiful!!!!

I love playting sherwood . its close to home and a great cource for the money. WILL PLAY THERE LOTS MORE
Hidden jewel
I the chance to play the course, heard about it , it was windy but this course was great has length and nice holes wish I would have played here earlier this season , will be back !!
