A friend booked the tee and so did I, great round, great price but I payed for 2 rounds. Hope I can get second round from the course mgt. bill s
Great greens
They have outstanding greens. The course is fair and the people are friendly. They also have good food. A very good value for a public course.
Great Upkeep
Out of all courses in NWI with exception of 2, Scherwood is kept in excellent condition. Only 2 cons, which are out of the courses control, is pace of play and the amount of Mosquitos.

Nice to see a course with workers hard at work taking care of sand traps and the greens as well as the mowing, Very nice shape for the month of August

Greens excellent. Nice course for the price Fairways decent Well manicured.
Good course for the price.
Only negatives I have are that there is no cart beverage service and that the course could do a better job of pointing you to the next tee box location. Friendly staff and played quickly.
Good Value Player Friendly Golf
Played here about 6 times and find it has enough of a changel to love it.
Greens are fast but fair, after playing several times I know where to play my shots.
Staff is friendly and has a big bar where you can exchange your bets
6500 from back tees, that is plenty
Good but over priced
Went on a Sunday but pace was too slow for price. Was waiting behind a group for awhile but the course was in decent shape.
Good Deal
This is a great course to play for any level. I always enjoy my time at Scherwood.
Course is in great condition, greens are nice.
I found the course to be excellent condition. Greens are well kept and putting was nice and true.
The only bad thing I could say is on the tenth hole we caught up to a twosome who held us up, 5 minute or more wait every hole.. Ugh. Course rangers should enforce timely golf.Overall this course is in great condition and the price is very reasonable.
Excellent
Challenging course. Great condition. Pricy for regular price, but excellent if you go through Golf Now.
Wet
First time playing this course and we played after heavy rains the day and night before. The course was still in decent shape but there was a lot of water and different spots on the course which did affect some play. Staff was friendly. Facilities are nice. Food and beverage is a good value. Will definitely go back.
Still Hacking
Always enjoy playing this course. Course is tough but fair. Played as single passed a couple then hooked up with threesome to improve time of play.
Course is in great shape
They are really taking great care of the course, particularly when compared to others in the area.

Golf course was in pretty good condition concidering the weather we've had this year. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Food is always great.
Great course for the money!
I play this course about 3 times a month and I never get bored with it. It is always in immaculate condition and is challenging yet fair. For what they charge and the fast pace of play you will not find a better deal!
Clean and crisp club house, well maintained course
Pro Shop had plenty of merchandise which indicates to me the effort for keeping the course up. The course was in good shape with very few weeds and the rough was cut to a helpful height.
Sherwood getting back into shape
I quit playing Sherwood a few years ago because the course was always kinda beat up or under construction. There's still the occasional drainage ditch being dug or a Bobcat parked off the fairway, but the greens are fantastic and Golfnow has rates that make it a no-brainer. I will play there many more times before it freezes.
Great layout
This course is somewhat challenging with lots of trees, some water and tricky ditches to maneuver. Hitting it straight and long keeps your score low
SLOW PLAY
HAVE PLAYED HERE FOR MANY YEARS. BAD SHAPE NO FAIRWAYS TO SPEAK OF. GREENS OK ONLY PLAY HERE FOR PRACTICE.
