Shadowood Golf Course

I have played this course a few times previously and liked it. So when a friend & I set a tee time (and he took a vacation day) to play this week, we had high hopes. But we arrived to be told the front 9.of the course was shut down for the day and we had to play the back twice. It appeared they were aerating the greens. Also annoying, the back 9 had clearly had the green aerated recently. So the putting was a bit bumpy. Would it have killed the course to list the course situation and conditions on Golf now so we would know?

Golf course is in excellent condition. Even tho Mother Nature made it cart path only, we still had an enjoyable round.

Very nice course for half of what the “bigger”places charge.

I visit my family every year and I always have to play Shadowood. Greens roll smooth and true. Keep up the good work!!🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

Course is in great shape. Receptive greens that roll well. I played alone and finished the front nine in 2 hours on a Thursday with a 1030 tee time.

Then after 10, it took me 1 hr and 45 minutes to play 11 12 13 and 14...there were only 2 groups in front of me.

It was very hot so after seeing off on 15 and waiting another 20 minutes..I quit...

I drove down the cart path all the way ineven though the 15 green is close to the clubhouse. All 3 holes were open..never a marshall in site

Course is in great shape right now., staff has been a lot more pleasant than previous years. But still got stuck behind a 5 some that would not let a 2 some play through..first time I've got behind this group this season.but was a constant thing in the past.
