The Challenge
Lots of hills and elevated and dog legs and a Lotta obstacles in between you and the holes a lot of times. Lots of fun for all levels of golf players. They must play course in Laporte Indiana.
Favorite Course in Laporte
Beautiful course with well kept fairways and greens. It has a few unique an challenging holes that will give your skills a test with elevation changes and dog legs on a few holes. One of my favorite places to play.
Slow front nine
It took us over 2 1/2 hours to play the front nine because there was 6 people in the 3 carts. A ranger was sen and they told him that only 4 people were playing. However, I saw 3 carts with 6 golf clubs. Fortunately, the six-some played only 9 holes.
I have played this course in the past and normally finished 18 holes in slightly over 4 hours.
Tough course for beginners.
Lots of challenges. Nothing really straight away. Definitely requires some thinking

Great layout for amateur golfers. Well kept, scorable course! Outstanding value compared to some others in the area!
Hills and more hills
This course is very challenging especially with all the hills! It is in great condition and nice amenities. Pace of play both times we have played this course has been good. Staff friendly as well.
Decent Course - Unfortunate Timing
The course has some nice elevation changes that make it entertaining. The greens were in great condition outside of people not repairing their divots. Tee boxes were nice and the course was challenging but approachable. If you are near the area, its worth a visit.
Biggest downfall was getting stuck behind a group ahead of me that had to be new to golf and course etiquette. I get it, you have to start somewhere, but It wears your patience when you see someone teeing up their driver in the fairway 14 times on a par 3 because they keep hitting dribblers. To make matters worse, the group of three was not playing ready which equated to ridiculous delays and waiting.
course great, management needs training
Played here several times. Love layout of two different course types.
However, guy behind counter has no skills in dealing w/ the public. Said I didn't have a tee time as I handed him the confirmation paper I ran off. Duh !! Wouldn't let my lady friend use restroom. Every course that is open has open restrooms !!!!!Had to go back to a gas station.
Craziest experience was today. Message said call at 9 for next weeks tee times. I called exactly at 9 and got same message called every 5 minutes ...same thing. 9;25 called and message said all Monday tee times taken . Call at 9 next day for Tuesday times. Are they kidding.?? No way they filled that fast and never answered. Horrible management set up and p r. If they don't use online booking I will never go there again. Pro shop staff useless and unfriendly.
Golf outting
Course was hyped up big time to me by a friend so felt a little let down, but was still a really nice course with fun holes to play. I will definitely be back to play it again. Could use some minor updating.

Nice little challenge in Northwest IN
I got the chance to play this course while passing through on business recently. The course is shorter, but the length is deceiving because the holes look longer than they are from the tee box. It's a great challenge with the rolling hills layout and the greens make you work for par. I enjoyed the course, and I think it's worth it to come back just for the course views on the back nine.
Very nice experience
Course was nice and presented some interesting challenges. Only dealt with the pro when arriving and he was courteous and professional. I got an excellent deal and was able to play about 15 holes in the time that I had.
You are Mr Rude
My wife and l were happy with the grounds but what upset us was the rude gentleman behind the counter. We will never go back. My wife wouldn't let me say anything at the time but l really wanted to

Course has a nice layout
Overall nice golf course. Unusual for Midwest changes in elevation, valleys and uphill fairways where you can't see the green. The course was in very good condition despite heavy rain in previous days. It was a quite day, Sunday afternoon, started early. In the flip side the restaurant was closed. During "check in" in the pro shop person had some dry humor comment I didn't get. Otherwise nice people.
A great mix of old and new
Since the addition of 9 holes some years ago the mature, undulating and fairly tight front nine has been complemented by a modern back nine and good practice facilities, meandering its way up hill and down dale through an ever growing golfing community. A very enjoyable playing experience, with a pretty challenging finishing hole.
