Best staff
The better, more friendly staff work at the North course. Smaller executive course, natural irrigation so later dates in the year tend to yield less than ideal conditions in certain areas, but overall a better experience with a more casual feel.
The greatest hardest 18 hole short course in the world!
As always "The Muni" provides shotmaking opportunities from the tips comparable to no other course. From the the dirt tee boxes to the overhanging wires to the untamed jungle the North Course at Michigan City Municipal provides unbelievable challenges that brought our plus 1 handicap golfer to his knees with a 9 over 69. Adding to the mystique of the day was the Hulk Hogan mustache mower driver who consistently followed us every hole to make sure he started and stopped his mower greenside during every back swing and putt on every other hole. In other words, if you have your name on your bag...I'm going to make your day as miserable as possible. We rolled over in laughter.

course was in good shape, but it’s tight and pretty short . there were times that people are hitting close to where you are playing. I would play it again.
Michigan City North Golf Course
Good course layout. Excellent traffic flow on course. Smaller greens but challenging with good speed. Friendly people. A good place for average golfers to improve their game.
This course is well manicured.
I’ve played this course once a week since March and it always seems to be in great shape.
Great short course - North Course
Fun short course for beginners. Greens were rolling very smooth and fast, especially for a muni course. Some of the best I’ve seen especially for the price. Lots of challenges with water but fun for my beginner son. Course was very green and great value. Would recommend for someone looking for a quick 18.
