Excellent experience playing here.
We really enjoyed playing here and will return in the near future
Weird design and slow greens
Really strange layout on this course. Train tracks running through the middle of it. Bunkers were playable for the most part. Fairways were hairy and the rough was crabgrass and clover. The 18th hole is a 220-240 par 4 that is just dumb. Two other holes had some very ridiculous tree placements. If you live within 10 minutes it might be a good place as a last resort. Other than that. Hard Pass.
Just book it
I will play again. Friendly clubhouse, nothing negative to say.
greens were rolling nicely and fairways had some roll. course was well maicred.
course was in good shape. good signage for first time player. played 18 holes in 2 hours 30 minutes.
Short course
This course is great to work on your short game. Almost all my second shots were 8 iron or less. Two par 4’s are drivable. It’s fun to play because it’s different. Even though it’s a short course, there’s a lot of trees and some water.
Pleasent Surprise
Value for the money! This course is as friendly as the staff. Keep the ball in play and you will score well. Nice condition. Very well ran. Restaurant was even better than it's well deserved reputation. We will be coming back to this one.
Tee time vs outing
We booked a tee time and teed off on time meanwhile the pro shop released a 9 team senior coed golf outing a few holes later. Carts were passing us going to their shotgun starting holes. We gave up and moved to the 10th hole to get away from them. Finished the back 9 then just left. Poor planning by the pro shop to say the least. It's a cheap course so I guess you get what u pay for in this case.
Excellent Course
Very nice course to play on. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.
Great course for the value
Fun, very scoreable course in good shape. Greens are decent but some of the pin locations weren't legal.
Still a fun course, and love playing here.
Would highly recommend.
Average +
The most notable feature is it's huge greens. You had better be a good lag putter!
The courgoodse is in good shape
The greens are very good
Nothing Special
The course is an older parkland style course and it can be scored upon. Many of the holes are back and forth in style, 17 and 18 are drivable par 4's, and the Par 5's are short. There was one hole on the back, 15 I think where you have to hit over trees and through high tension lines to the green, which also has train tracks behind it - not exactly a testimony to design. The conditions were a bit patchy as they seem to be struggling with the rain recently, and the fairways and rough were indistinguishable on several holes. One par 3 on the front was total mud in the fairway. The course is ok for a last minute cheap round as you can play it quick, but it's not worth going out of your way or paying whatever the base rate is.
Great greens great fairways. Pretty challenging love it
I love this course way to much it's just great. Very nice
Enjoyable Morning
Playing as a single at 7:30 on a Saturday morning I wasn't surprised to be paired up with two other players. Crestview is a short, compact course but the greens were beautiful. The course presents it's challenges with large, fast greens and tree-lined fairways but it's lack of length yielded three eagle putts to me and almost never more than a wedge into the par 4's. All in all it was an enjoyable round of golf for the price.
Great Value for a Fun Course
This is a fun course to play that offers some challenges for those just starting to play, but can help you hone in on your skills if you're an intermediate player wanting to practice on your game. You can choose to play 9-holes, 18, or play the par 3 course, so it offers a nice variety. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the course plays nicely. I enjoy playing this course as I continue to work on my game.
