Pond-A-River Golf Club

Booked a half a week advance, dissatisfied that pond a river double booked the same tee time. Ended up playing with another group. Overall, the course is well maintained and worth the price.

My golf experience at Ponda River was Great! I really apreciate the low key, relaxed vibe that this course offers. .

The new manager at Ponda River advised that he is working hard to improve course conditions over 2024 inro 2025 seasons and beyond. The front 9 holes are very open play with plenty of room to scramble while the back 9 holes are tight and required short game accuracy.. I like this combination as it allows me to practice long game a short game in a single round

This is the first time I played pond River in 15 years. Courses in much better shape than the last time. It's a good value for the money.

Very short course even from the blues. Have newer golf carts (maybe 10 years or less) but the save them for other people and give I guess non members carts that are at least 15 years old with ripped seats, left over trash, bird crap, boogers, spit etc (extremely dirty) to the rest. The front end of carts have the tires toed out and was difficult to keep straight.

The course. Could not tell difference from rough to fairways for most part. Fairways not is good shape. Green are supper small and also not in the greatest shape. No ranger to help manage play nor make sure people are not tearing up the course. Hole 11 or 12 (elevated par 3) had this holes/ deep divits that was made with end of the holes flag pole all around the hole.

Hard to tell what green you are suppose to be shooting for. Score card is on the small side for the font a had to pay close attention to even read yardage. Only course that had a tee time before 10am within hour drive and I see why. If your a hacker and just want to get out with no where else to go then it works in a pinch. Got a deal on tee time website for $25 a person after fees and taxes. Rate at course was $32. Make sure you bring the receipt if you pay online to prove you paid for the round. Staff was young but very nice though.

This is a fun and challenging course. Front 9 is pretty much wide open and forgiving. Back 9 goes into the woods and with tighter shots needs becomes much more challenging. Super friendly staff. Recently added new carts are in excellent condition. Greens and fairways are in average condition, but all play fairly well.

Challenging course layout but, it really needs some maintenance on fairway, greens & cart paths. It’s funny the greens needs so much help because, the maintenance crew seemed to be in the way for each of my approach shots.

A very interesting course, with the back 9 quite challenging elevation and wooded areas. Some fairways very sparsely covered and greens could use some attention. Great local course and folks super friendly! Could use a layout map on the scorecard to help navigate, but not too difficult.

Paid 15 dollars for 18/cart. Can't beat that price. Back nine is challenging, in my opinion. Don't expect much from clubhouse for amenities, but for 15 dollars.....you can't. Would play again.

You could not tell the tee box from the rough or the rough from the fairway. It was very wet and overall not a very good layout. I would no go back or recommend.

Front very different than back 9. Both fun and challenging, but back 9 has great layout and variety of terrains. Fairways and tee boxes a little dry, but manageable. Greens in great shape. Friendly staff and obvious signs of course improvements. Well worth a look !
