Otter Creek Golf Course

We ate at the bar and grill beforehand and the food was very good a the prices we very reasonable All the staff we encountered we extremely friendly and glad to help. The driving range is in great shape and they have really grass, not the artificial turf junk most courses have. The course was in great shape and very picturesque. There were hills and lots of water, challenging but not so hard that is wasn't fun. If I lived in Des Moines, this would be my course of choice.

Course is in good condition, pace of play was good, was able to tee off at scheduled time. I joined up with a twosome and had a good time. The only problem was the wind, but that is not the fault of the golf course.

First time playing since course redone from parkland to links course. Excellent job. Great practice facilities too.

The course is in amazing condition and very visually pleasing. The staff offers to drive you to and from your car. Overall, I can't say enough about how great of a golf experience Otter Creek is.

Nice course. Very busy, but after the first tee off, things went smoothly. Only problem was no beverage service on a hot day.

Course was very wet, and it was cart path ony. that sucked.

Saved a few bucks with Golf Now and played a soggy round at Otter Creek in Ankeny. My group likes this links style course- open, curvy and well maintained. Nice clubhouse, friendly desk and starter, what more do you need.

This course was great had exceptional customer service. They came and took your clubs put them on cart for you. Shuttled you to and from your vehicles. My grandma was with us and she doesn't golf and usually we have to pay for a round of golf for her to just ride but they didn't charge us anything I thought great customer service. The course was in excellent shape. overall fabulous course we will be defiantly coming back.

Blue grass fairways but always kept in great shape. The course plays true and the greens are always cut pretty tight. It is usually pretty windy but 2 out of the 3 par 5's usually play downwind.

I played Otter Creek in a 20+ mph wind and it wa s a challenge. The course was in good shape with the greens being consistent and true. There were many two somes and a couple of singles but play was pretty smoothe. It is early in the season, but I still think there should be clean solution in the ball washers. Other than that it is a well maintained course I will return to for more rounds.

We played this course for the first time in a while. Conditions were great. Greens were smooth and fairways were crisp and well manicured. Saturday afternoon/ evening and no beverage cart was disappointing. Bar staff was slow and not well versed in the drinks. Staff was friendly. Will be back. Would love to see twosomes combined to speed up pace of play. On a busy day combining should be expected and accepted.

Fairly open on the teebox but carry and water in play 1/2 the time. Greens were in great shape with a subtle slope to them.

Good course, I'd recommend it. It was only mid-April and conditions were already very good. Greens rolling nicely. If it's windy, watch out. The course is open and the wind whips here. Maybe a tad overpriced, but a nice course that makes sense.

Great layout. Outstanding condition. Greens roll fast and true. Electric carts. Multiple sets of tees. Very fair.

What a nice course. The only problem was the greens were recently aerated and that made it interesting, but it is a challenging and pretty course. The layout was fun but difficult as it was our first time here. I would recommend driving up on the blind shots and getting a look it will save you strokes
