Great course
Only bad thing about this course, if you take the cart even one foot out of bounds it shuts off and you have to put it in reverse
You Otter Play Here
Course was in great shape. Covid practices are in place with pins staying in the hole and each golfer having their own cart. Club house is closed but drinks and snacks are served outside.
Great shape, easy access.
Easy access off of Interstate 35. Course was in very good shape and has many interesting holes.
Good course. Can get crowded quick
Enjoyed playing 18. Got caught behind a slow foursome which slowed us down and started to back up behind us as a result but out with our control.
Would play again, course well kept, challenging, and friendly staff all round.
Starter behavior baffling
I was in Des Moines for an out of town wedding and did some research for a good course to play. With just four hours I got their early and noticed that there were two twosomes ahead of my put-together foursome and asked if I could go with one of those groups to maximize my time and get to the wedding. The starter was a jerk and would not let that happening saying that the course was full today and changes could not be made. He really was an angry older man. I chose not to push it. On the other hand, the pro shop gave me a senior discount. I didnt even know that was available.
The course was really nice
The course was in great condition but due to the current rainy conditions it was cart path only which made the pace of play really slow. It took us 3 player group 5 hours which is unacceptable. Not our fault, players in front of us held us up.
I was a single on the course. the threesome in front of me let me play through. I didn't catch the next threesome until the 8th hole. then I waited on every shot the rest of the round. threesome, threesome, twosome, threesome and a foursome were the groups in front of me. the weather was good so it did not bother me. a great day to be on the course.

Geese droppings are deplorable. Gotta be a health hazard Every hole! Every green
Pace of play
Pace of play was slow. I am not a pro by any means, but We caught a group that was playing slow. They didn't let us play through. The ranger was not out to make people accountable on the pace of play. Kinda ruined the afternoon having to wait on slow play. Wonderful course, greens were nice, rough is long.
Enjoyable course
Played here on a Friday using a 'Hot Deal' to save some money. Course was in very good shape, but pace of play was not great. A five-some ahead of us slowed play quite a bit. But this is an enjoyable course for all.
Super Spring Condition
We played in under 4 hrs. and had a great time. The course was in mid summer condition, just immaculate. We hope to play it again soon
variety of holes makes this fun
Early season so it was 90 degree and cart path only on a few holes. I was Okay with this as course was a little wet when we started. Fair amount of water holes to make it challenging. Fairways were in good shape and greens rolled perfectly.
