Great course
Dubs is a great course. It is in great shape and is challenging. Greens and fairways are in excellent shape. Rough is thick so missed shots can be a challenge
Staff is very friendly and they have the cart girls out and bu often
Dub's Dread
Golf course is challenging for first time players.
Excellent condition!!!
Have played Dub's for many years. This year I was amazed at the condition of the course. Played three upscale public courses in the last week, Dub's is in the best condition of all. Closely cut,fast greens, all fairways mown,no bare areas, traps raked and playable. Come play here!
A Pleasent Surprise
I haven't played this course for years. Back in the day when American Golf owned the course the conditions deteriorated. Not so today. The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the maintenance, the bunkers were in fabulous condition with good depth of well conditioned sand. Fairways were superb and the rough while lush wasn't cut to high as to cause a great deal of difficulty finding the ball. The greens were nice and smooth, consistent in speed, and receptive to a good shot (a bit soft which is not a bad thing). I genuinely like this layout with a good balance of difficulty, this layout uses the terrain very well asking for both fades and draws. This course is walkable. It is well worth the time to give Dub's a shot.

The course was in excellent shape, will definately play again. Hotdogs were $4.00 a little expensive.
Course
The course was in the best condition I've ever seen it. The greens were in pretty good shape but would be better if ALL players would repair their divots.
Excellent condition.
This course was fun, well taken care of and challanging....pace of play could have been better.
Challengig
It was my first play in this course. The course condition is generally great except tee boxes that were not good. It was challenging due to you have to hit the blind shots in several holes. It was pretty hot but good experience.
Great course value
Course was in excellent shape and staff was extremely friendly. Excellent value for the money.
Older, but well maintained course.
I played this course early in the spring and it showed. The tee boxes were all being worked on, so we had to tee off in front of where we normally would. This made the course somewhat easier since it shortened every hole. The fairways, though brown, were very well kept through the winter. The greens were very true and consistent. The only knock on the course would be that it got very jammed up when we made the turn. Had to wait about half an hour to tee off on number 10.
Good course
A few yahoos on the course, but what's new? Course is in great shape.
Dubs Dread...a good place to play
The course was in great shape, greens especially. Pace of play was very slow due to a bachelor party having about 5 foresomes in front of us. All in all a great course to work on your skills.
old style challenge
This course plays long even from the blue's and requires accuracy off the tee as every hole is tree lined with narrow fairways. Greens were in great shape and putts rolled quick and true. Enjoyable experience as the staff was great and we were able to get right on. On course Marshall was friendly and helped make the round even more enjoyable.
Worth the money
This is a very challenging course especially when it's windy. This course will challenge even the best of golfers.
Beautiful course
We'll play this course again, but never on a Thursday! I am a woman & play on a women's league, but the wait between every hole was absolutely ridiculous! My husband & I ended up only playing 13 holes because of this. I also did not like having to stay on the cart path. This was really hard on my back. The way we played, we might as well have been walking. The course was very nice & the price great!
I may become a member of this course!

Challenging course
Course has something for every golfer. wide fairways,dog-leg right ,dog-leg left,blind shots,long par threes,short par threes,over water,up hill down hill--go have a good time.
Bad tee times
Guy at pro shop was nice. He said "go ahead and tee off anytime" We were 15 min early and we go the first tee and 6 groups were waiting in front of us. One had a tee time after us and they let us go in front. It was not fun because it was not spaced out at all.
Grand
Course in great shape for this time of year. Good value and will definitely return!
