Dub's Dread Golf Club

Interesting course built through rolling terrain. Greens had just been top dressed, so were slow but had good contour.

My son and I played here and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They treated us like they were happy we came to their course.

The course is fun. Lots of trees, some water, sand, a little of everything. Fairways are well maintained, but the grass is a little coarse, but that's my only comment that's anything but great.

We'll be back. It's my new favorite course in KC and I've played quite a few.

This course was in great condition and fun to play. I liked it so much I left several golf balls there!

I have golfed here a few times. For the money I will play somewhere closer to home.

Golf Now Rate $20.00 mid afternoon is great for Dubbs Dread. Course was in great early season condition, played very well. Greens a bit up and down on speed, made for a very difficult and challenging round.. Wife and I both much enjoyed !

I have played over 60 courses in 8 different states and this one was fun and challenging. Lots of blind tee shots makes hitting the fairway a must. Next time we are in the area will play again .

The course was in great condition considering the heat. The greens were soft and receptive yet fast. We had a great round and got a good deal using GolfNow.

Not many people there on a Thursday afternoon, so pace of play was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed the outing.

My wife and I love this course. With the weather in the nineties, having a shady course is a must. Greens are in excellent condition overall and the course is challenging. Fun course to play!

Great track with plenty of different shot selections.

If you like historical courses this is a course for you to play once. It used to be the longest course in the world and many legends have played here. However, the fairways are narrow and are not well groomed, maybe this is to preserve historical playing conditions but I would just assume update the fairways to bent grass and put in a new subsoil layer. WARNING: Due to terrain and course design make sure you can be seen by the group behind you. Too many blind shots can get you in trouble on the scorecard and the group in front of you. Very difficult course due to the design, but can be played by most skill levels, might have to keep the driver in the bag on this one or risk hitting into the rough or other people on different holes. Greens are above average difficulty and only averagein conditon. The marshall was looking for balls in the rough instead of speeding up play which can be slow on this course. Above average clubhouse. Cart service lacks hard liquor. Glad I played it once for historical sake, but wouldn't play it again even for a discounted rate.

I play several courses a month and this course has it ALL. Thanks for keeping the course perfect. I broke 90 for the first time with an 88 on Memorial Day. It will be a good memory for rounds to come I'm sure.

Nice layout. Fast hard greens with lots of break and some are very subtle. Shot selection a premium. May be best to leave driver in bag on several holes.

Playing from the tips gives you 7200+ yards of course to traverse. This length makes for a fun and challenging day. The course was in above average shape and the greens were well maintained. I am pleased to have made the trip to Dub's.

The greens were stellar. Tee boxes in great shape. I prefer rough to be just a 1/4-1/2 inch shorter due to multiple balls just off fairway being lost, especially on the blind tee shots. Had a great time!
