Trees! I hate trees!

Course was in decent shape for Spring. Greens were excellent. Lots of holes work right to left...Keep it out of the trees or you will curse as much as I did.

Great Course

I booked through GolfNow for $25 and will say I've never played a nicer course for $25. Very friendly staff and a challenging yet fun course to play. The Greens were in excellent shape.

One of the best in Kansas City.

Outstanding mature course with tree lines fairways that roll up and down. Many of the fairways turn either left or right. This course will require near every club in your bag. They have tee box for ever skill set. If you think this course is not a challenge, tee it up from the back then give me a call when you putt out on 18. Highly recommended.

Great place to play golf

First time I played this course and loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the course was in good shape considering the dry conditions the area has had all year. Greens were in very good shape and the course was a lot of fun to play. I plan to make this my main place to golf. Also, nice clubhouse with friendly servers.

Beautiful

Dubs Dread is one of the most beautiful courses in Kansas City Metro area. The course is in unbeliable shape despite suffering the worst drought in the last fifty years. The staff has been super. You will love this course it is in the rolling hills of the kansas city. Isolation without any city around it. It is lush green and quiet. A Golfer paridice. Don't miss playing here.

Tight fairways and old trees, but club selection is what counts.

The course was in good shape considering the drought the area had this spring and summer. There was some patchy spots in the rough that made it hard to hit your ball, however the fairways were fairly well mowed and nice to hit off of.
The sand was fair to come out of and not to much water comes into play on the course.
The dog legs are impressive and will make you place your shot. The course is tight and you need to hit a straight ball or your in trouble.
Got a great deal with Golf Now tee time. Had a wonderful time.

Dub's is a great track!

Enjoyed an excellent round at Dub's on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon. Course was in great shape and the pace of play was steady despite the fact that there were golfers on every hole... I would highly recommend Dub's...

Nice, yet challenging layout

My threesome, two women and myself, played on arguably one of the hottest days Kansas City saw this summer. The course was well maintained for the heat and lack of water. I played from the tips (6 handicap), so the tee boxes did not look to have been used much as there were no tee remnants or divots. A few of the tee boxes on the front had little to no grass and the par 4 10th had absolutely none. The fairways had recently been mowed so the ball was perched 9 times out of 10, however on the 9th, 12th and 18th holes large clumps of mowed grass clippings made it hard to find balls in the fairway. The greens were great. They had a good pace to them (I personally like them fast) and despite being a public facility, did not have a lot of unreparied ball marks. The rough was not penalizing, but that is quite simply due to the heat and lack of water. That said, there are plenty of places to get into tree troule on most every hole, so in order to shoot a good number you must keep your ball in the fairway. This is not a course for beginners. The pro shop staff were very short and unattentive as they were either talking to eachother or watching the GolfChannel. The grill has ample space, a great bar staff and they were very attentive of our needs on a 110 degree day for fluids. Overall, I enjoyed my experience as well as the course itself.
