Nice Fall Day round of Golf
Course was in very good shape, even with the lack of rain we’ve had. Greens and fairways were in good condition as well. Tee boxes were a little hard and dry. Pace of play was excellent. Hopefully they’ll get the 19th hole rebuilt to provide some better choices to eat.
Needs rain
Greens were great. No rain in two weeks made rest of turf hard packed. Great layout. Has potential
Still Doe Valley
Fairways were a toss up. Most hadn't been cut for a while. Greens were slow but rolled well. A few bad spots mostly near the fringes and in shade which is understandable. Much better than the last time I played there. Still tight which makes it a top choice if you're looking to work on the driver. The layout and tight driving will keep me coming back to Doe Valley. Seems like it's trending in the right direction.
Great course & great staff
This was my first time to Doe Valley and I will most definitely be back soon
Great layout, decent condition, terrible staff and clubhouse amenities.
Course layout is good. Considering it’s the middle of summer, the course is in above average condition. Kudos to the grounds crew! The guy running the counter in the clubhouse is a huge deterrent for repeat customers. Very grumpy, unfriendly and acts put out to even ring up a sell. He was there the last time I visited, and it was the same experience. The other guys in my foursome didn’t even want to go in the clubhouse at the turn. To boot, the only food available was peanuts and salt and vinegar chips. It will be a while before I re-visit.
Doe Valley Deal
Enjoyed my fast round of golf (little over 3 hours as a single). Groups let me play through and staff were very nice. 16 of 18 greens in very good shape and sand had been raked. Beautiful layout - but you better hit um straight!!!
Much Better
Doe Valley is very challenging. Tight Fairways and difficult approaches. 5 years ago it was in bad shape. Now I can wait everything is much improved. Fairways are beautiful. Greens are coming back. Hit it straight! Not much room for
Errors
Course was in good shape considering all the bad weather we have had recently
Not bad
Just had bad storms the workers there did a great job clearing trees to make it able to play. Kinda tough course a lot of fairways are quite narrow. Definitely going back
Once the kitchen is rebuilt I'm sure it will be a plus all around!!!
A starter would be a plus, but I know good help is hard to find!!!
Wow
New to golf and not from the area this course is beautiful and quite the challenge got my first birdie plan on going again before I leave town
Doe valley
It’s a nice course with a picturesque view of wildlife and obstacles to play around. Great staff!!!
