Doe Valley Golf Club

Course plays inside of a gated subdivision over hilly terrain. Course is mistakenly attributed to Dick Wilson (more famous) and was actually designed by Richard Watson. Course is better suited to playing with a cart as several holes have some haunts between them.

I enjoyed the elevation changes and large modern greens. Not many other courses in the area bd worth a play if in the area.

This course is really great to play. We had a foursome and was cart path only due to the weather and was still awesome to play. Greens are in great shape especially for winter. Hats off to management and staff for keeping this course in great shape. Top notch staff. We needed an extra cart and obliged us with no problems. Food was also good and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a good course to have a great time with friends this is the course.

I played the day after Thanksgiving and the was blowing leaves out of the fairways the greens was in good shape they putted good the fairways was in good shape most of leaves blown out of the way the trees line of the fairways was full of leaves good luck looking for a ball in them overall the course was in good shape considering it is the fall the did a good job of keeping it up for the time of the year

Overall a very enjoyable fall afternoon. I may not have played here IF I had known the back 9 was closed, so 18 holes was two laps of the front. However it was interesting to attach the holes a bit differently the 2nd time around.

Pace of play? Pretty much had the course to myself. Greens? Soft landing but rolled firm. Lookout for the minor contours! Tee boxes? Could use watering, tee insertion challenging. Fairways? It's fall, so leaves make finding a bad off the fairway difficult. Could do more blowing to widen the area of play. Fairways were dry and fast.

Last played the course over 3 years ago. It was in horrible shape then. This time the greens were great. The fairways and rough needed some work but were better than last time. The course has a great layout surrounded by mature trees. The par 3 holes are very reasonable, the longest is maybe 180 yds. There is a restaurant adjacent to the golf course. They serve decent food and they also have beer and liquor.

We struggled and it was a tough day as a beginner. The course is beautiful

This is a beautiful course! Truly enjoyed our round. The greens were in superb condition. Fairways a little sparse but to be expected by late August. Bunkers in great shape. Unfortunately I found a few. Only complaint would be quite a bit of crab grass but that stuff is everywhere in Kentucky. Will definitely be back! Great value as well

First played over 40 years ago when it was the premier course in the area. Watched it deteriorate into despicable shape with washed out fairways and crabgrass greens.

Wow what a turnaround!

Great improvement, now a enjoyable course with new grass and smooth rolling greens.

Been playing this course for over 40 years and quit several years ago because of conditions. Well they have corrected their problems and the course is a pleasure to play now. I will be back.

Nicest course in our area. Fast greens. Nice and tight fairways. Loved it.

The course looks better than I have seen it. The greens were firm, fast and looked good. The fairways had some spots but the heat has been merciless. I played behind a very slow family of 4 for the last 5-6 holes but not the club’s fault.
