We were a little off
We struggled and it was a tough day as a beginner. The course is beautiful
Wonderful day!
This is a beautiful course! Truly enjoyed our round. The greens were in superb condition. Fairways a little sparse but to be expected by late August. Bunkers in great shape. Unfortunately I found a few. Only complaint would be quite a bit of crab grass but that stuff is everywhere in Kentucky. Will definitely be back! Great value as well
Pleasant round
First played over 40 years ago when it was the premier course in the area. Watched it deteriorate into despicable shape with washed out fairways and crabgrass greens.
Wow what a turnaround!
Great improvement, now a enjoyable course with new grass and smooth rolling greens.

A pleasant surprise
Been playing this course for over 40 years and quit several years ago because of conditions. Well they have corrected their problems and the course is a pleasure to play now. I will be back.
Favorite Course in the Area
Nicest course in our area. Fast greens. Nice and tight fairways. Loved it.
Course Looks Great
The course looks better than I have seen it. The greens were firm, fast and looked good. The fairways had some spots but the heat has been merciless. I played behind a very slow family of 4 for the last 5-6 holes but not the club’s fault.
Great course for the money!
Doe Valley lived up to its name with deer visible throughout the round. Greens were fast and challenging with the fairways being in pretty good shape for an under $30 round.
Under an hour drive from Louisville and is an open course that offers a good challenge for golfers all of all skill levels. Will go back and bring buddies next time.
Even in the rain!
Still a top notch experience on this tucked away public/private course in the worst summer weather (wet/raining)!

Round II
Day two was as good as day one. Green's a little slower today over yesterday, after the morning rain. No wet spots on course though. Fairways are pretty good for this time of year and the lack of watering. Out of the way location makes this a laid back fun outing, without all the fake testosterone teeing off on every shot. No crowd's and wanna beez....
The price is fair and reasonable for almost anyone. Tee boxes could use a little care. Will be back 4th of July and complete my "tournament"!
