Bay Hills Golf Club

We booked the starting tee time at 2:36, however they failed to mention that there was a tournament going on. Everything went great up until the 7th hole, where a huge back up started. On the back 9 there was huge congestion with people hitting literally on top of us. When we confronted them, they only got mad and said they were in a tournament and that we were the ones who were in the wrong. When we asked the starter about this, they tried 2 squeeze us in between 2 groups playing in the tournament, only to have a 4 sum breathing down our neck clearly upset that we had been put in between them and the next group. Very poorly managed, don't try to penny pinch a extra group during a tournament.

Course is in good shape considering the time of year. Like the layout of holes. White tees provide a decent length course for when your not looking for a big challenge or when course and/or weather will make it play long. Gold tees good for when it is warmer & dryer and course plays shorter.

The course was in good condition given how dry it has been in the area the last few weeks. A few minor brown patches in a handful of fairways, but overall nice condition. The front 9 had been aerated the weekend prior, so putting was a little challenging on the front. Then came adjusting to nice fast greens on the back 9. That being said, the staff made a point to let everyone know about the conditions, and tried to give helpful tips to those that asked.

We arrived ten minutes early for our tee time and were told we couldn't go off for a while as a tournament was finishing up. Not a great start - why accept tee times if you won't be able to accommodate?
Once we got out on the course we found the layout to be very interesting - lots of demanding shots, elevation changes and water hazards but disappointing in that the tee boxes, greens, fairways and rough were very unkempt. I expect to have some inconsistency in the ground cover if I've hit my ball in the woods, but a foot or so off the green I don't expect the main component of the ground to be weeds and crabgrass.
After speaking to our friends who live in the area, we learned this course declines over the course of the summer due to lack of watering and upkeep. It's a shame because it has a lot of potential to be a beautiful course with the right investment.

We started at 3:15pm and did not leave till 8:20pm. Each hole we waited for 10-15 minutes on average before teeing off. The greens were very littered with geese droppings.
Great price and very freindly staff. I will go back again. Hopefully it was just the day and time we went.

Bay Hills is in the best condition it has been in, in years. Fairways are in very nice condition and the greens are the best I have seen them. It also helps that I shot my best rounds since high school 1976, score 86.

Due to scheduled league play all carts had to be in by 5pm, our T-time was at 1:08, we were paired with two others which was fine. There were 6 ahead of us which prevented us from starting on time, started around 1:30; they also were very slow holding us and rest up. Were only able to get to the 15th and were reminded at around 4:15 the carts had to be in and then again at 4:45. They should scheduled less groups on these League Nights or at least have a note added when booking online.

Course was very great and good greens would definitely play there again but only had one water cooler and it was empty and the cart girl only came around once in a four hour period

There was a significant amount of play after the threat of a storm had passed. Long round but expecting slow play helped. Generally pace of play is quick or at least on time so not worried about future rounds.

Mike, the greens keeper, has really turned this course around. It is in excellent condition making it a pleasure to play here.

Given all the rain we've had lately, the course was in great shape. The Staff here are the real difference. All of them are pleasant and helpful. They handle the GolfNow transactions effortlessly!

I haven't been to this course in about 8-10 years and now I remember why. The tee boxes were not that great but you do have the ball on a tee. Fairways were horrible with bad patches all over and the rough was very spotty with alot of bare spots. The greens were just ok, they would be much better if everyone fix their ball mark and two more. Some of the sandtraps had big stones in them that would mess up you wedges so be careful. The staff was excellent. I can't complain about the price ($19), so you get what you pay for. I will not be going back.

Do yourself a favor and play this course. The course was extremely nice. People were friendly and pace was nice. The course is forgiving on some holes, but not all. Stay in the center and you should score nicely. You must get the ball in the air. Distances on the course were accurate. Greens were fast and have rolling hills!! :)

An average course but would recommend. Not the greatest but you could do a lot worse

lots of fun played from the black tee's. front was shorter then the back. the back was harder. staff were great. club house does need some up grades. will go back soon.

All ways a fun course to play Clubhouse needs an over hall !!!

I was a single that was paired up with two regulars. I booked my tee time and later I had a time conflict, but the staff was terrific in allowing me to adjust my tee time. The greens were good and very true, but the remainder of the course was average at best. The fairways are zoysia and it had not fully come out for the year. I intend to play the course later to see if the fairways improve. The did not have a driving range.

They have done a nice job of fixing up the course it's looking better than I remember. The course itself was fine, my only recommendation would be yardage stakes! Pace of play on Wed. Afternoon was horrible! I was a single and joined up with the single behind me since the foursome in front of me wouldnt let me play through; worst part was it looked like they were teaching a member of their foursome how to play! Waiting on every tee box is no fun and kills any momentum in a round!

Course was in great condition for the value. Hot dog at the turn was delicious. Course was very busy on a Sunday, midday. Didn't see any marshalls and no beverage cart.
