Needs work
Greens are slow and many bare spots around the course. I have played this course since it opening off and on and was disapointed in its current condition. On the positive side it is still a nice layout and the pace of play was great for a public course.
Nice Course
Course in very good condition, layout is challenging but not so hard to create unfavorable day for the casual player.
Challenging but rewarding
Lassing Pointe is a long course from the tips, 6700 yards at a par 71, but it is a fair course. Course was in great shape but greens were a little slow and inconsistent for my taste. Several times I had a long putt that I thought I had blown past the hole, but it stopped several feet short of the hole.
one of my favorite golf course to play
with age this course just keeps getting better!!!! go play
Course in great shape! Challenging but fun!
We had some hot dry weather so I was expecting course be a little dry, but it was in great shape! Challenging but is fair and fun to play for any level golfer.
Fun course
Fun to play. I wouldn't pay forty dollars though to play it. Some fun Par 3's. Some long Par 4's. Good place to go if you get a good deal.
very nice course
only thing needed her is better sand in traps nice fairways good greens very scenic all around nice course
Good value
Nice public course, could use some more maintenance in the bunkers and greens weren't all consistent. For the cost, an overall nice and reasonable place to spend an afternoon.
Great Course if discounted
A must play course if you can get the deal I did through Golf Now.
Still needs major work
When I first played this course fifteen years ago, I was amazed at its potential to be a truly magnificent course. Nothing much has changed; it still has the potential to be a first-rate track. The bunkers are virtually unplayable. When wet, the rough is unmanageable, especially in the lower areas where drainage is big problem. The green fringe(s) have been repaired, after a fungus reduced them to hardpans. In all, I only play this when golfnow.com can provide a decent rate. It simply isn't worth the price given the lack of course maintenance.
rough to high
Rough to high for us amatures and iam a 6 handi very nice course but not player friendly
Rough
I am a 15 HC and shot 50/42 from the middle tees (~6400 yards).
Nice practice facilities and nice staff.
The rough on this course was VERY rough due to call the rain we have had lately. It seems they could have mowed better though. It was nearly impossible to find a ball not hit in the fairway (even near the green). There were also many blind shots due to the hilly nature of the course.
Overall, it was scenic and I enjoyed the round.
Very nice for a public course.
The course layout is very good.
#12 hole is under repair. The rough was high, however
that sometimes happens during April's rain.
We plan to play again in the near future.
Regular rates are a little steep. Check Golfnow for
nice discounts!!
Top 10 Kentucky Courses
The course was in excellent condition especially considering it is pretty early in the year still. Challenging is a great description for the course. The water surrounded par 3 is PGA grade! Definitely check out this top 10 Kentucky course!!!!
good fairways and greens
rough was a little high, but it is early in the season.
this course has nice features
this is one of my favorite golf courses because of the different layout of the holes.
Course in rough shape
For the money there are better courses in NKY. There were multiple holes with severe erosion issues. Tons of mud around the greens. They obviously did not seed any of the problem areas. The rough was very deep (to the point of looking like a weed patch in some areas). We lost several balls based on the rough. If you weren't standing on top of the ball you had no chance of spotting it. I enjoyed playing this course in past years.....not going back for a while. The erosion and bare spots will take a while to be fixed and not worth the money while the course is in such pot shape.
